  1. The shadows issue was posted in the tech forum & Phil Culliton has noted it. This shadows issue has appeared in 1.10 with both ATI & Nvidia cards. The issue was not present in 1.01. Why turn shadows off? They are part of the graphics and should work.
  2. I'm starting to wonder if further work on the German armour models & textures was the victim of a perceived need to get the module released in something like a reasonable timeframe. This is just speculation - it would be good to hear from BFC what happened.
  3. OK had a closer look now. Stuart moves into position unbuttoned. Area fire order given. Commander buttons up then unbuttons and main gun fires. Buttons up again, then unbuttons and main gun fires. Ad infinitum with continuous buttoning/unbuttoning. It only happens if the commander is on unbuttoned order. So I guess he is buttoning up to load each time then unbuttoning to obey my 'unbutton' command. I see the logic of it now so thanks for bearing with me Sergei. I guess its not a bug. But I still think it looks funny!
  4. Maybe. But if its an added 'feature' it certainly looks very odd when 2 adjacent Stuarts are firing and their hatches are flipping open and closed in a kind of semi-synchronised dance!
  5. Well I don't see how a that explains the hatch opening every time the gun fires. This does not happen in 1.01 so why is it in 1.10?
  6. Restarted C&F in 1.10. First game I am playing with this version and only 5 minutes in I noticed the commanders hatches on 2 Stuarts continually opening and closing while the tanks area fire on some bocage. Re-installed 1.01 to check and it doesn't happen in that version. Obviously not a gamebreaker but something that surely should have been picked up before release.
  7. My pet peeve - the way the ground wobbled under the red/yellow/orange placement indicators as you moved the cursor about - seems fixed. Only tested on first CW scenario, but terrain seems rock solid. Funnily, no change with base game maps so this must have been a map issue rather than a graphics engine issue. Anyways thx to BFC for fixing this.
  8. Considering the fuss that was made about the KT being in, its disappointing that it turned out to be such a poor model.
  9. Wow that is not so good. Looks to be well below the standard set in the base game. I wonder if BFC commissioned someone outside the company to do this model? Can't really think of any other logical explanation.
  10. I finished another one of your QB's last night, and I have to say it was a pleasure to play on a relatively open, beautifully crafted, realistic-looking (basic pack & summer add-on) map. I am really looking forward to more of these.
  11. Yes, the best terrain mod yet IMO. Just one thing Aris - I am wanting to use the alternative crops texture (for a more yellow colour) but there doesn't seem to be a corresponding 'mini-ground' texture. This means that from a distance, when the low LOD textures start to show up there is a big colour mis-match. Can you make mini-ground textures that work with the alternative main textures? Thanks

  15. I think the ITO mod is just stunning. I've played Nik Mond's Gothic Anvil scenario (and very good it is) and will wait for v2 of these QB's. Are any other scenarios/QB's available for Italy? This mod really deserves a lot more.

  18. I have to say I think these mods are absolutely stunning. In game they possess a depth and solidity that the originals don't have. They look like real armour in a real setting. It would be great to have (lots!!) more of these.
  19. Any chance of having them put on the repository for use in the main game?
  20. Another graphics issue to add the many others (see my other post on ground wobble). You really do have to wonder about the graphics engine in this game.
