  1. Fashid and Phil: Thanks for putting up the pic, Phil. I was going to do so, but first need to clean out my Photobucket, and I was saving an AAR for the next battle in the Eindhoven Campaign. Anyhoo, it looks like the Russian recon force was completely wiped out. I had a few infantry losses, the Puma took two anti-tank rifle hits, with one crewman hit (but no damage to the machine), and one A/C is stuck in the river/stream. The worst news, though, is that in his rush to stop the Russkies from exiting the map, some Commies that decided not to run lobbed a grenade inside Abt. Kommandant Kerner's HT, with all on board being hit! I'm certain it's only a flesh wound for Kerner, though but still....
  2. RockinHarry, FYI, Just last night I added supply dumps to a map/scenario I'm making and used different Opel Trucks from different formations. After dismounting the first one in the editor, I deployed it into a house on the map. Went back into the editor, dismounted another truck, went back into the game to deploy it, and couldn't find the supply dump icon! After checking the original supply dump, it had doubled its ammo count. I tried doing another one, same thing...so it appears once you place a supply dump on the map, any others made just has its ammo added to the already existing on-map dump. Don't know what would happen if you made several dismounts while still in the editor, before going to the map to deploy them; however, in that case, they should be separate units.
  3. FYI, battle has started, 2 minutes in. No contact yet. I'll be posting SitRep pics as the battle progresses.
  4. Nope, sorry Lee, I didn't dld it. Check CMMODS site, and of course the Repository. Seems like it was a couple of years ago....
  5. You can do that, and in fact there is at least one mod floating around like that, but the problem is there are no separate Officer/NCO/enlisted men bmp/textures/models and so the game applies them randomly to the Allied side's bmp/texture files; anyone and everyone could have them. The Germans do have officer and NCO textures separate from the enlisted men, and so they already come with rank markings on the appropriate pixeltruppen.
  6. Yes, I had planned to do an AAR for the next round. I hate to pull rank on Fizou, but man, I gotsta fight with the FJ's. P.S. Marta, the vehicle, was destroyed by those damn Canucks while Oberst Kerner was in the adjacent building acting as the FO. The driver was wounded but survived.
  7. Yeah, stand the stupid commander up against the wall and...wait a minute...strike all after "Yeah". You said there would be no requirement for an AAR. And frankly, things started so slow I just got out of the mood to do one. I have been toying with the idea of a relatively short video summary, but the problem is it takes ages to reload every turn and search for pics/video at this late stage. But, I may do so yet, now that all summer activities and home projects are winding down. Maybe...just some pics or video of the hits on his tanks and carriers, and and overview of my positions, etc. Except for jostling sections around here and there for better LOS or avoiding enemy fire, things haven't changed much from the beginning. One platoon in the little village on the left, and the other 2 in the main town centered on the church. Stay tuned, I just talked myself into a doing quick summary since the battle only seriously started about 10 or so minutes ago.
  8. Fabishd, I'd like to take command of the 1 & 2 Aufklarung Abts if no one else has dibs.
  9. Ian, I just tried the waypoint method in our Eindhoven battle. It works pretty well! (Although I don't know how much longer my poor P-truppen have to live!)
  10. Hey Phil, was it ever determined whether us Axis players are assigned command over a specific unit for campaign duration, or is there some rotation scheme for playing battles, or what?
  11. PS, when locked (and I forget, I think you do that by holding down "SHIFT" when clicking the AS on the map, the elevation numbers are in a black box with white numbers....
  12. Badger, it looks like you need to "Lock" the water hexes, or at least those perimeter pond hexes, at whatever level you want the water to be. You will probably want to lock the surrounding ground at 50, though, too. The editor "smoothes out" the terrain between one elevation and another to avoid sharp elevations changes, so as you have it now, the 50 meters ground hexes are dictating that water be 50 hexes as well. If you lock the borders of the pond and the surrounding ground at the elevations you want, then it should work OK. I hope that makes sense.
  13. Harry, they worked great for me in CMBN. I don't know about any different effects or not, but the cowering fix at least looks better to me. I did a quick check in the animation files in CMFI and CMRT, and they appear to be named the same. Haven't tried the mods out in either game yet, though.
  14. Well, hopefully we will get some Vosges action when Bulge is released.
  15. Lol, I thought it looked familiar! So were there any changes after the playtesting was completed? If so, I'll swap this "new" one out fore the old one.
  16. PanzerMike, I already have a GOW Redux v.II (or, I assume, v. 2). Is this a redux of a redux, or is this the one from August, 2014?
  17. Wow, these are fantastic, NPye! I thought the one with the 82nd AB troopers was from Call of Duty or something. If you could work it out like Ian suggests that would be great. But even if not, you should upload them anyway and we can pick and choose which ones to use, especially when making our own scenarios. (yes, I'm greedy! ) Besides, checking your Flickr screenies, you have a lot more to offer than just the buildings, like clouds/skies, roads, flavor objects, faces, etc., which all look fantastic. You're a hell of a modder!
  18. Oooo, bad user1000, bad user1000! I bet you still use an 8 Track player in your Ford Pinto! Just kidding (but you should really make the jump).
  19. I had the whole enchilada...all the modules, ETO/MTO/PTO, plus around a dozen ASL modules by other companies licensed (I assume) to make them. Hardly played any. Sold them on ebay about 10 years ago. You also might want to try to sell them on "The Miniatures Page" marketplace, or "BoardGameGeek" websites.
