  2. I don't know why, is the target outside of your covered arc?you say you gave it a target order, but I don't see that, you cant have a target line and a covered arc unless on different way points.
  3. Please let me say that in no way am I trying to imply that constructing scenarios/campaigns is easy in any way.I actually have dabbled in this , but never have ever been able to finish a product that I felt worthy to release, I barely have enough time to play my pbems..

  5. well I extracted the map to use in a qb, I placed them in there on initial set up, now they are "entombed" with no way out unless I blast them out
  6. Why would the scenario designer for the campaign "Knockem All Down" use buildings with no doors or windows?
  7. what I meant by that if a mortar round or mg burst lands within lethal range "Class of Troops" has nothing to do how many casualties will occur, only which direction the shrapnel is heading and it will kill both equally, now I often buy veteran troops for they are much easier to command and don't break from orders, but they die just as easily if foolishly used
  8. bullets/arty kill veterans just as easily as conscripts.
  9. ok ran some quick tests, conclusion is that flat roofs are broken in CMBN, the flat roofs in CMFB work fine, you can deploy and fire American 60mm and 81mm from flat roofs in CMFB, you can not in CMBN, also in CMFB it will say roof as an option when you enter a flat roof building, in CMBN it will say level 4 instead of roof, something is way off
  10. I noticed mortar teams can go on flat roofs but not able to deploy their weapon.Should that not be fixed?
  11. when and if a new engine comes, I really wish they would stay in the chronological order originally set forth, in other words I wish they would not start off with a Normandy setting for engine 3, but visit the settings that have been negelected first, such as Stalingrad and 41,42,43 Eastern front.

I like the idea of a basic encyclopedia as well, equipment name, historical background , its main historical use , and its major weakness, specifics like " what is the range your 76 AP will have a good chance with a panther front turret", i think thats too much info, that we can find out on our own, I do alot of testing on my own to determine range effectiveness, plus its fun finding these things out on your own '

CMx2 ScAnCaDe v1.9 by Mad Mike Can anyone help me troubleshoot why I cant get this mod to work, I had it working before, it seperates the scenarios out of campaigns,but im running into issues what java virtual machine do you recommend? I double click CMx2_ScAn_CaDe_v1.9.jar and it asks me what program do I want to use to open it

Ive tried everything to get my squads,halfsquads, teams, to fully occupy foxholes but they will not, like a 6 man unit, 4 will occupy the foxholes and 2 will stay out, and there is plenty of room, a 4unit foxhole should hold 8 men, this is only the Russians I am seeing this so far.Change facing, remove them back into the foxhole area, doesn't work.
  15. I would pay a great deal of money for Vietnam War CM. Talk about the devolopers having to re-charge their batteries, the game would have to have nva reg, vc,tunnels for underground movement,boobytrap placement,all the various weapons, rpg, Sheridan and Patton tanks, napalm,rivers and river boats and of course the huey helicopter would have to be visually represented once on the map, for drop offs and pick up, and close air support.
