The for the comment Ian.. Yeah look i UNDERSTAND the need for codes anti piracy etc.. BUT there MUST be a better system than what is in place atm.. X52 and Warthog are Joysticks.. The Warthog is more complex in that it has built in Firmware, that can be updated etc And still waiting for a reply to fix the over $100 worth of games I've purchased too.

Had a awesome day playing DCS A10, And thought hmmm haven't played CMBN or CMFI for a while, lets give it a whirl.... WRONG!!!!! I just recently swapped out my X52 for the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and that WAS the only change i had made in moving usb or anything else around in my system for ages and BAM.... Triggered the INFAMOUS DRM on this game. LIKE seriously COME ON... unplugging a USB item for another USB item screws you're license???? Apparently there IS a tool that can fix this error so you can re-enter you're license and a person can move along. BUT you have to wait for someone to reply to you in the Help desk.. Why not make it available without having to wait for a reply from the Help desk? At the end of the day, WHAT burns my boat and it is starting to be common practice is that if something goes wrong, that's it you are stuck. Regards

Quite frankly this is NOT minimum DRM at all. I have like 8 EA games and there DRM isn't as bad as this I'm afraid. So at the end of the day what you are describing and what was outlined via my link dose not wash. Sorry Canada

WOW bit of overkill on detection? I CAN understand Motherboard/CPU/Soundcard/Video Card As that is an upgrade for the user... But USB Adding Memory Monitors Upgrading Video drivers etc etc COME ON that is way too much. I know this IS a niche market And we pay for that privilege. Comes to the point.. HEY guys would YOU like to run my PC.. Because it seems like I am unable to with all these restrictions. Please try and find another way. Well WAS going to preorder it BUT then i saw the $27 shipping cost.. For a DVD.. WOW i just bought a Warthog HOTAS and it cost me $35 shipping and the thing weighs 6kg's....go figure. Waiting for official release

It was a couple of small files? I believe i deleted them If this helps with the shadow stripping etc i WOULD love if someone could PM me or send those couple of small files to me please. I had lost interest in CMBN because of the options i would have to disable in order just to play the game. With CMFI and the new shaders i have a game that i can crank up all the options and can play no problems at all TBH i hope that the Upgrade for CMBN happens soon as i do like it but just looks not too good with the options turned down. I DO LOVE my shadows So well done BF and please keep up the good work. REALLY looking forward to the v2.0 for CMBN Regards A Satisfied buyer and player

Well i have said this for ages now. That BF got the game from i believe Oleg in the 1st place. Was WRAPPED when i thought i would never see the game only for another company to take up the reigns of the game. But EVERY SINGLE edition of the TOW era was left for dead 1-2 patches and throw it in the I DON'T CARE bin. They may say differently but the prove is in the pudding I'm afraid The game fails to live up to this Generation PC specs, As i have said It's in the TOO HARD basket for BF. They would prefer to focus all there energy into a series that has EVEN more outdated graphics and runs worse I would LOVE BF to prove me wrong and apply some much needed patches and new Gen pc compatiabilty. Having had my rant though, THXS very much Tartari for you're continued DEDICATION to the TOW series, Maybe they should hire you to pickup the reins and bring the game some MUCH needed love!!

A new patch? Truely!! I had i look but didn't find anything Also i have a HUGE amount of mods for CMBN are there any that stand out that HAVE big problems with the new module that i should remove? The ONLY patch that i see was released on 2011-08-22 no other new patches for the base game is on the Downloads/Patches area Regards Mike

I have noticed in some Vid Replays that the tress seem to be swaying and there is longer grass etc. Is there a patch for CMBN for these things or do i only get them via getting the new module ? And are there any other things that are notable that stand out that buying the module would change the game dramatically besides the added side of the Brits Regards Mike

Thxs for the tip.. But at the end of the day.. This series is DEAD. The developers have moved on and anything in regards to them taking 5min away from COMBAT MISSION is frankly out of the question! I would a thought that IF they decided to look a little HARDER into these issues a person would get bang for his buck. It appears not. The series has been abandoned. And we wont see another TOW i fear.
