Don't people play entire patrols like that? I mean you really have to be a fool to play the cruise out from your home harbor to patrol area in real time.

Speaking of which, is there a forum on here or thread for people that want to try PBEM the demo? ie- match making? I don't have any friends

I must add to this thread and say initial impressions are positive. Even in the Bocage scenario, I let the AI go on the attack to see what it could do. I watched as he forced all his men up one flank, with an artillery to prep the assault! Wow. For ONCE, I had to reposition troops to respond to an AI move. Nice, very nice. One of his tanks penetrated deep behind the lines before I could scramble AT assets to counter. The flank move left one of my AT guns useless, and several squads scurrying around to reinforce the other flank. I never knew what reinforcing a flank felt like since I never had to do that with the AI in CMSF or CMBB/BO.

Perhaps a gooey-icky sticky is worthwhile on Battlefronts part? Seems to be an easy fix and a common problem.

Agreed.. map movement commands remain annoyingly laggy (but do improve after higher process priority)

They were from all over Europe, even containing Korean units. I was refering to the included scenarios, where it is clearly stated the units are Georgian

Win7 64bit, ATI 6970, 6gb RAM, i7 @ 3.5ghz, happening to me too. Also, have to restart computer if I want to run the demo again. Otherwise, it goes immediately from the first nag screen (I hit play game) to the ending nag screen (buy now) without running the game.

Yes this threw me off in the demo for the first 5 minutes. I issued a slew of movement orders and proceeded to watch my infantry run all over the map doing crazy things. It wasn't for a couple minutes that I moused over the small hedgerows and realized that I couldn't plot movement into it.

However, you would be incorrect when discussing the above scenarios. They were GEORGIAN PoWs... no Polish units, unless you plan on putting them on the Allied side.

Not sure if it needs tweaking. I knocked out a Sherman with a one man AT team (the other member was KIA) and the single man then proceeded to gun down the entire Sherman crew. If you are talking about a GEORGIAN PoW, then yes, if a US tank crew bailed and I was out of C2 with my higher ups, I would surrender to them too.

I will tell you when I get home since my PC doesn't autoinstall anything without my prior seal of approval ;P

Guys.. go to the torrent thread. Much (much) faster than any of these hokey download sites and guarenteed not corrupt (since you are downloading versions that we already have installed).
