How many posts does this thread have in its brief existence?? I have a bad feeling about this. They said in another thread that they do not host the demo. Therefore, I don't think its as simple as them releasing it. Im pretty sure they uploaded the demo already and gave the 3rd party hosts a date to go live. By that reasoning, it probably won't be available until the magic date hits, and that likely means a midnight release (tonight probably). I don't think they can release it at an arbitrary hour such as whenever Steve feels like it.

I love how Steve says he doesn't create hype, yet he uses the words very very very soon in the same email. I guess that's not hype about the game, but it certainly is hype FOR the game ... look at all of us.. refreshing every 2 minutes. It could be days away and we are just being made to look like fools!

Mobile phones are for refreshing to check the website for game release while you are driving or otherwise not in front of the computer.

I already said today.. I was first to predict it based upon Steve's carefully chosen words. Therefore, I am the most superior. It WILL be today.. imminent ! Is it ready yet?

I have purchased a case of Red Bull and a funnel for the first night it is released. I currently am on my 'pre-release' sleep plan, sleeping only during the hours of 1-5am, as thats the least likely time of the release.

Since the demo is free to distribute, it would be nice to see a Demo torrent. Blazingly fast if we got enough high bandwidth people to host it.

LOL I agree. As someone who did was a software engineer, I love some of the 'suggestions' or criticisms some people come up with as they don't realize how difficult or absurd some of them would be to code... most of the time these are irrelevant to the entertainment of the game itself anyway and are special cases.
