    Very glad to read this. 😊 Meanwhile I took a look at what needs to be done for the CMBS profile. Seems like this is relatively similar to others so maybe it's not that much to do and I can do it myself.

    @Butschi I got the OSM to CM conversion to work and successfully made a small map of my neighborhood in the United States with the auto-editor. I will attempt another one using elevations and let you know how that goes. I won't lie, I was kind of just staring at my screen in awe while the autoeditor was working it's magic. Well done!

    I don't think it's configured to work with CMBS yet.

    I have this morning uploaded the 'final' versions of my creations including:
    (1) Normandy and Netherlands Master Maps (7 maps)
    (2) ASL/SL to CMBN conversions. (11 Scenarios)
    (3) Kandu's Original Scenarios (6 Scenarios)
    (4) 82nd Airborne in Normandy standalone scenarios (29 Scenarios)
    (5) Mission Boston - Objective La Fiere; a short, five mission, linear, 82nd Airborne in Normandy campaign. A longer version is still in development.

    I was trying to have some view from the past to trying to remove some "things buildings... no existing on t this time, but I will let it fall and make a simple map with some elevations I was thinking to do it quickly but I am now 2 days on, I give up with this part, and foccus on simple things I just take care that any highway are not on  !

    DTM is 10m in Geotiff format and EPSG is 32632. And it's free.

    Quick summary of what I already posted here a few times:

    You are very welcome to share your findings.
    Edit: If you need help with any particular region you have to be more specific. 😉 But please try to do a little research yourself, this can't be an effort by just me.

    You have to google search for websites for each the municipalities in these areas, local administration offices for each county, province etc.. and search for dgm1 data.

    I think we've seen this before.  It's down to the AMD graphics drivers, which I think you can roll back to ones that don't do it.  I can't say much more as I'm Nvidia.

    For all of you who want to extract elevation data from geotiffs: I did a short tutorial on how to convert geotiffs to xyz data so you can use the data with dgm2cm.

    I never got my geotiff2cm to work either. Same issues as before, I think I should try a different system before speaking up again. It sucks because I would leave my computer on every night pumping out terrains for people.

    Yes it works brilliantly. I just produced a huge 6400x2576 map and it is gorgeous.  I will need to go in and edit the buildings, fences and hedges, flavor objects, and many other details, but the basic map does get generated saving massive amounts of work.  It took about 4 hours to render the elevation and about 10 hours to render the rest over night. The only issue is maybe my xyz data was corrupted because the bottom of the generated map did not match the rest of the map and I had to trim it off by about 350 meters.  I will re-download the xyz data and try it again. I would post a photo but forum says I have no space. Excellent tool.

    Hm, yeah in the region you are interested in, farmland isn't really marked in many cases. Well, I'd say do whatever works best for you. Alas, making maps still involves some manual work. 😉 
    Yes, the CMFI profile is on github already. Once I'm done fine tuning the default OSM config I'll also make an "official release".

    I guess I should have titled this thread with the words 'Multiplayer campaign'.
    Added a new command order chit, 'Reserve'. This use if a commander isn't sure of the next enemy attack direction, costs 1 AP to activate. Meant to add it in originally but forgot.
