In their defense, they don't actually have many washing machines.  In fact it is rumored that Putin began this war due to a shortage of washing machines and toilets in Russia.

Putin Dealt a Blow by Major Chinese Spy Cam Maker (msn.com)
Chinese surveillance industry giant Hikvision has suspended operations in Russia, joining the ranks of over 1,000 companies that have scaled back business in the country since Russian President Vladimir Putin's 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
Hikvision's Russian website is currently offline, a development flagged by Russian security systems adviser Videoglaz on the social media platform Telegram last week. The precise date operations ceased is unclear.
The Hangzhou-based manufacturer is subject to U.S. Treasury sanctions and is on the U.S. Commerce Department's Entity List, subjecting it to export controls and licensing restrictions over the company's involvement in human rights violations against China's Muslim minorities.
The move by Hikvision, which Ukraine last year labeled a "sponsor of war" over its continued sales in Russia, comes on the heels of U.S. secondary sanctions targeting international companies in sectors deemed to support Russia's military industrial base.
Hikvision, along with its budget brand HiWatch, comprised some 30 percent of Russia's surveillance camera market in 2021, according to Russian media agency RSpectr.
"The suspension or change of supply channels may in the near future cause a shortage of Hikvision products and a number of electronic components, which will lead to an increase in their price," Videoglaz wrote in its post, adding the future of the Chinese company's technical support and cloud services in Russia were also in doubt.

Given your shift in narrative I sincerely doubt you are anywhere near Russian bombs right now.  In fact I am getting the suspicion that you are located closer to where those bombs are coming from, not to.

Just as a general comment about propaganda, I have continually been impressed from page 1 that the overwhelming majority of posts have been well vetted, or if not, along the lines of "I found this, can anyone confirm?" There are people here with vast experience, and not just militarily, who aren't easily fooled by specious claims. Posting the verified facts and then getting some good discussion on what those mean is very good reading.
So basically, good job everyone, and keep it up.  I don't post too much - just mainly about things I really know a lot about, and sometimes do catchup reading, but I do read almost everything, and follow a lot of the links.

Interesting if true, another sign of troop shortage issue?
Russia's pulling combat forces from another continent to fuel its latest offensive push in Ukraine, Western intel says (msn.com)
Russia has pulled combat forces from Africa to support its new offensive in the Kharkiv region.
Africa Corps units recently deployed to fight with other Russian forces, Western intelligence said.
The Russian Africa Corps was created last year and consists of former Wagner Group mercenaries.

Russia has moved some combat forces from Africa to help support its latest offensive efforts in northeastern Ukraine, according to a new Western intelligence assessment.
Over the past week, Moscow has deployed units from its Africa Corps to fight around Vovchansk, a small city in Ukraine's Kharkiv region that has been at the center of intense fighting in recent days, the UK defense ministry wrote in a Friday intelligence update.
The Russian defense ministry created the Africa Corps last year as a way to expand its footprint on the continent and also in the Middle East. The military formation, which has the same name as a World War II Nazi unit, consists of more than 2,000 regular soldiers, officers, and mercenaries — including many who once served in the notorious Wagner Group.
In Ukraine, Africa Corps units have been deployed alongside regular Russian military forces and Storm-Z penal units made up of convicts and troops with disciplinary charges to support the ongoing Kharkiv offensive, Britain's defense ministry noted.

To quote Nancy Reagan - "Just say no".  If Putin is feeling this is as good as it gets- let it get worse.  At a minimum Ukraine should demand return to pre 2022 as a start.  Until then make the BSF disappear and continue the strain on Russia's oil industry.

Russia Arrests Top Commander Who Slammed Putin's Military (msn.com)
A senior Russian commander who criticized the Russian military and its treatment of soldiers operating in southern Ukraine has been arrested, Russian state media reported on Tuesday.
Major General Ivan Popov, who had headed Russia's 58th Army, was "arrested on suspicion of fraud," Russian state news agency, Tass, reported, citing a law enforcement spokesperson.
Popov was removed from his command of Russian troops in Ukraine's annexed southern Zaporizhzhia region In July 2023 after he criticized the Russian Defense Ministry for failing to provide sufficient support for the country's fighters.
Popov condemned what he called a "lack of counter-battery combat," too few resources to scout for artillery and the "mass deaths" of Russian soldiers.
In a recording published to social media by Russian MP and former military commander Andrei Gurulyov, Popov—appearing to be addressing his troops—said he had "raised a number of other problems" to the top of Russia's military command, and was dismissed by then-Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu.
"The senior chiefs apparently sensed some kind of danger from me," Popov said.
