  1. Not sure but all you really care about is when do you get your email check your spam folder just in case. I processed an order in under 10 minutes. Are you in the US? That may have an impact on credit processing.
  2. Not necessarily. If you bought the Marines bundle from the game section then no, if you bought the upgrade then you wouldn’t be able to activate. I don’t think that is the issue you have so I’ll assume you bought the regular CMSF2 marine bundle. Next step is you need to take the download file and put it somewhere in its own folder. The avoids you having an issue with the installer grabbing any other files inadvertently. Unzip the contents into this folder then launch the installer. Do not launch from inside the archived file, it won’t work. Follow the instructions on the installation and you should be good to go.
  3. I was disappointed with the actual portrayal of combat in the long road home as it didn’t really accurately depict the battlefield. A nitpick, but I have to say I think they did a real good job showing the stress on the families. Martha Raddatz apparently developed a really close relationship with not just the men in the unit but their families as well. Rare in a tv show.
  4. Lol memories....... actually no but man the image of seeds popping is burned into my brain.
  5. Well they aren’t trained and they’ve been hitting the bottle (hence the title) too drunk to be scared and too drunk to shoot straight.
  6. yeah flavor items do impact pathing and they don't blow up I ran into that in CMFB with a bench. Told my guys to move the damn bench but they said that wasn't their MOS..... a-holes.
  7. Well considering it was never really secured in RL that would be a stretch.
  8. Interesting. The manual does talk about the effects of movement and exposed weapons but I’ve never really appreciated how that actually plays out beyond a general sense.
  9. You note that you bought the base game, but didn’t specify which of the cmsf1 modules you own. If only the base game you would purchase the base game upgrade then go to the CMSF2 games section to purchase modules. There is a 3 module bundle I believe. If you have a problem with your CMSF base game activation key contact the help desk they can sort you out on that.
  10. Just to be clear, the screenshot you are showing is the archive for the installer. You need to unzip that into a folder and run the installer just in case you have not done that. Next question did you purchase the upgrade or the regular bundle? For the upgrade you’ll need your original CMSF 1 activation.
  11. no civilians. there are spies, basically an unarmed combatant that given high civilian density and staying put can be hard to spot. I don't think I have yet had one acquire a weapon, but I suspect if they buddy aid someone they could do so. Better off not being armed though. The IED guys can also be difficult to spot and will generally hold fire fairly well.
  12. dang I thought you were done. PM steve, he may not see an item on a thread
  13. yeah for those who have wanted to do a bridge seizing scenario where you have to eliminate a demolition unit- CMSF is your game.
  14. that specific item submitted with test scenario
  15. tried to create a test set up with a few buildings and mout teams - no dice worked every time. Then went back to a scenario I know I have seen it on- Circle the wagons the Marine 5th Assault squad. Gave them a command to run up to a building and then blast a hole - sure enough yellow line on the blast I'll do some more and see if I can nail down any possible reason why I can recreate it there. If the waypoint is too distant yeah it does convert , but this is an adjacent position with regular terrain. Yeah it seems that I can recreate it on a test scenario with that specific unit - The assault squad from a Marine Platoon. Not sure about others yet.
  16. not sure, i'll look and if not will post it.
  17. not to stir the pot again, but this is not necessarily true. China has shown a lot of interest in getting involved with exploiting Afghanistan's resources.
  18. Says a man from the Democratic People's Republic of Massachusetts. Yeah it is ridiculous how long it has taken to get to this point but the thing that bugs me the most about it …. now that I know how the stuff is grown from watching my neighbor (his son actually worked on one of the farms) I realize how much I was getting ripped off in my younger days...those evening past times cleaning stems and seeds..... Then I watch my neighbors kid and he looks at us funny and say "that is the crap we throw away, you only smoke the buds man". Harumph spoiled millennial, we used to walk to school through the snow uphill both ways. and we really did have to clean our weed. Now I don't bother. My drug of choice is wine. Wait what was this thread about?
  19. once you have noticed it is set to quick, click on the path again and select blast. It will change and stay.
  20. I have actually seen this quite often and not in a specific scenario or title. I'll select blast, place the way point and it becomes a quick command. I then have to change it to blast. You can tell immediately as the color for the path goes yellow instead of red.
  21. Man that is cold. Honest, true, but cold. The flip side of the Germans view of American behavior is the American view of German behavior. Uncoordinated attacks with insufficient support. It is no more uniformly true than the German perception of American behavior, but is certainly supported in many instances. The fight for Bastogne being a pretty good example of multiple attacks waged with poor reconnaissance and not enough effort. As to the Huertgen - somebody should have been relieved. A whole lot of somebodies.
