  1. WITE1 with dlc (lots of smaller stuff) will probably be in the Steam summer sale for about 70% off. Maybe try that and see if it is you cup of tea and then get the new game. Everybody who played the first one seem to like it. I will get it once it gets a dlc with smaller stuff.
  2. Same problem with non-existent tow cable on IS2 (the model in the Seelow Heights scenario). Reported before patch but still remains.

  4. I do too. And hope so. The way @markshot describes how the AI handles an attack and it works out as intended is like watching a perfectly synchronized dance. Very compelling and immersive. I think players who like the anticipation of making plans in CM and then press "go" to see what will happen will like CO2, even if it takes time to get into. There is always a pause button if you need to alter your plans, so not a hectic click-fest.
  5. Not verified by tests, but my impression is that a HQ that has been on the move are more likely to "lose" its radio, and I have always interpreted it as that it takes a little while to setup radio contact once the HQ halts in a new position.

  8. I have HttR and RofV, so will have a look at Bastogne for sure. I love the game, but has preserved playing most scenarios for the new engine. It is such an elegant game design.
  9. The engine upgrade stumbled across several dev obstacles, both programming and IRL-related ones. There are two new modules that will be released in connection with the new engine and I think (but not sure) that old modules will be upgraded to the new engine for free or at a very low cost. The engine will have several improvements.
  10. Which of the Ardennes ones would you recommend the most? I'm planning on getting some modules when the new engine comes around. Hope we don't have to wait too much longer. It has been years now in the process.
  11. Didn't notice that. IIRC the unit hadn't participated in any combat, nor unloaded any units. Maybe exiting a HQ and getting them back in. So question is maybe the vehicle is missing a gunner in any editor formation or as single vehicle.
  12. From "Skirmish at Sichenhausen": No damage to MG, greyed out commands, and using the spacebar menu shows only the "Face" command.
  13. The BTR-60PBK has a MG but can't be issued any target orders. Haven't noticed if the TacAI fires it if there is an opportunity. All target orders are greyed out.
  14. If seen this in all releases since SF2. IIRC some kind of face command could be set in the editor that maybe messes things up. It is a total immersion breaker and causes easy kills.
  15. I have tried it for screenshots and it works well. But when I try to capture video the pointer in game starts to act weird with the windows pointer also visible. Once shut down CM because of it. But I'm no expert on how to use it best.
  16. I ended up breaking it and had to buy a new one. The click mechanism wasn't dirty but simply worn out. Tried to fix it but no luck.
  17. Saw a Youtube-guide on how to clean the finer parts of the click-mechanism. Seems a bit fiddly but doable. Hope I don't mess up too much
  18. Nope, a rather expensive ergonomic Rollermouse Red. Not too keen to buy a new one. Can't use a regular mouse because of neck/shoulder problems. Maybe it is as easy to replace in mine. Will check. Thanks for the advice.
  19. My mouse left button is not functioning great and has a tendency to do double-click instead of single-click now and then which is annoying. It is ok when it happens for selecting an entire formation as I can just unselect it. But many times when I select a unit, the camera jumps to a map location further ahead, which is really annoying. Checked the hotkeys, but nothing. The weird thing is that this double-click issue is more common in CM games than in other games, programs. Does CM disregard the Win10 setting for double-click sensitivity? Seems like it.
  20. I had to wait three extra months for my RTX 3070 but I guess it was worth the wait. Ask me again when I've played Microsoft Flight Simulator and Red Dead Redemption 2.
  21. I have had that as well, even when gunner is buttoned.
  22. I have had a similar thing, but not on a bridge, but where a tank refuses to follow any movement orders. Just sitting next to a road, nothing damaged, never fired upon. That was in 2.10. I have a save for it.
  23. @BFCElvis glad to see the fix for the bridge bug of getting stuck. Will it be applicable to the other games? Curious to know if is a universal fix as I have done/doing quite a lot of bridge testing trying to figure out what causes it. Can you spill the beans on what the fix was?
  24. Good to know, but still does feel not quite right that they can't do it from inside the vehicle.
  25. The BMP-2 can't be unbuttoned unless it carries passengers. Is that the way it is supposed to be?
