Man, I would KILL to have these in game...

No turret and no ability to rotate when dug in - doesn't sound very effective! -
Red vs Red Scenario and The Chechen War Theatre

Oh hell! I almost missed this. We need a scenarios forum, these drop off the front page way too quick. I'll give it a go, thanks for making it! -
The actual number is between 20,000 and 40,000 combat deaths between the two wars. Where you get 3500, I don't know. Not even Russian claims are that low. The rest of it is absurdist fantasy, ignoring the fact that none of the police, spy, bribery nonsense doesn't work until the major insurgent force has been defeated. It took nearly a decade for the Russians to do that in a tiny country equivalent in population to the state of Rhode Island. They only had to kill a fifth of the population and displace half of the rest to do so. A success story if there ever was one, for sure.

units refusing to follow orders?

I've noticed that infantry squads refuse to go into certain floors on certain buildings. The move command just gets cancelled. Maybe the door is locked -
Initial info on pending v1.02

How about performance on Nvidia stuff? Specifically, the latest drivers. I'd like to have my drivers up-to-date for the other stuff that I do, but shock force just doesn't like it. -
To repro - playing the campaign, this happens whenever the enemy surrenders early, and I have a bunch of time left on the clock. If there are still objectives on the map that I haven't captured yet, then they are "lost" and the enemy is rewarded points for them. Obviously if I was given the amount of time left on the clock to walk over to the objectives, I would be able capture them.

Again, spend some time in the tech support forums and see what's actually going on. There are folks that have done everything that you've done but continue to have horrible framerates, crashes, and lock-ups with version 1.01. There are a plethora of hardware compatibility issues with Combat Mission:Shock Force. We're happy that you have none of them, but unfortunately not everybody has your very specific set of hardware combinations. Sorry. -

You have no idea how far off this is. Spend some time in the tech support forums to get an idea of the actual problem. Updating drivers isn't rocket science. People have done it. CM:SF runs horribly on a lot of systems with updated drivers - and, actually, people have had better performance when installing specific, older drivers. Battlefront SHOULD feel obligated to look into these issues because they released a BETA product that doesn't even support the majority of modern hardware on the market. -
M203's and M124's pass through entire buildings on a regular basis. Direct target the side of a building with an infantry squad to repro this.
-
Not just the thin walls in some maps, but entire buildings - I see this with the M203 more often (most of the time it doesnt contact anything but the ground), as well as the M136. To repro - just direct fire the side of a building with an infantry squad.

Has anyone completed the campaign yet?

The thing that I HAVE had trouble with is taking out tanks with Apaches. Maybe it was the reactive armor that shrugged off hellfires, but I had to do multiple passes per tank, and usually the crew bailed out because of immobilization and exterior damage, but rarely a penetration. The targets were usually T-55's (I think.) -

Yep. 8800 people seem to have trouble, along with many others. Have you tried the Insurgency mod for HL2? Really fun. Might tide you over until some patches are out for shock force. -

With four seperate (single) Apache missions, I was able to take out 4 entire building sections of the SF HQ. -

On linear and area attack, no. With point attack, they seem to take down buildings really quickly. -

It would be cool if campaign scenarios were unlocked and added to the 'battles' section once they were completed. Maybe this is a matter of just moving some scenario files around on my part. -
It would be nice if these things were seperated into their own graphics options. I would prefer to turn off the grass while keeping vehicle and soldier polycounts higher.

I agree. I'm glad that they don't fire on their own, considering their low ammo counts.
