Yip its a great product Phil. I find you really have to playTurned Based to see much of the detail , figure out what just happened. I am really enjoying using the TAB key to follow infantry in any mode , its great through wooded areas

another vote for keeping dead bods on the map.

First off i completely understand that Battlefront wont entertain the idea of a Strategic Layer, thats not the point of this post. After reading Hunters (Hunting Tank Software) speech about Combat Mission Campaigns (CMC) i appreciate the complexities. I was one of these chaps hoping / wishing for a Strategic Layer initially but after playing the CMBN Campaigns i dont really think there is a need for it anymore. Campaigns are designed to be balanced more or less. In a Strategic Layer you could end up with battles of a squad versus a couple of battalions type battles. Having said that i still feel the Campaigns need some work to increase the continuity between battles although i am not sure what. Maybe a pre battle OOB may help , i find myself writing notes on a sheet of A4 , units , names , experience ... creates that affinity. Steve did post a while back suggesting BF were softening to the idea of slight experience gain if its within the scope of the campaign date range / number of battles. Must be a few other things like this that can be added too. As for CMBN in general , bravo , outstanding product. Anyway , just thought i would share some thoughts. Scott

hmm , this is going to be a long night is it not. If its not going to be the 20th , isnt it unlikely to be this evening (04:00 GMT) otherwise something more positive would have been posted. i.e if it was going to be tonight why didnt martin just say that. Must be x amount of labour , taking y time which is projected to be prior to the 20th. 19th could be cutting it fine that leaves 17th or 18th (likely to be 18th or 19th for UK) So if that is known , what cant BF say ? Not moaning honest ... just tell me to shut up if if talking b@llocks honest its fine ... no offence taken.

So this definitely 100% means prior to 20th May otherwise it could have drifted to 20th May and BF (with due respect) have never been that confident about dates in the past. That to me indicates later today probably and if not tomorrow.
