  1. Oh, would you be so kind as to point out what part that was? I might even take the trouble to make a sig line, I'm so damn proud of that. I must say, there are some rather sensitive folks here. All I did was post a very logical question, inquiring which thread had the cooler chicks. I got back overly verbose tirades about how my language was insensitive to women and how someone wanted to take a bat to my head. I think I handled myself quite civilly, all things considered. Hardly taking a piss. But speaking of which, is there a tree around here? Oh, and Kitty did answer my question: the answer is Waffle. Thank you for the answer. 2. Since I am a sportsman, I would suggest you bring something with a bit longer range to make it as close to fair as we can. </font>

  4. My comments were directed at Pixie, but if you insist.... Mace? You mean that stuff that you carry to spray at muggers? I snort that stuff for a stimulant.
  5. Double post on Peng thread: Peng or Waffle, which has cooler chicks? Yes, Pixie, I said "CHICKS." Spare me the faux chivalry this time, please.
  6. Bad coffee in Belgium? What about "chicks with tanks," hmmm? "Ladies with tanks" just doesn't have the same ring. Shall I dispense a thrashing to you and prove who is right?
  7. I am honored to have been one of the lucky few to have been schooled by Walpurgis Night. Congrats, Walpurgis Night! Note: I managed to do as well as you on Vevi and Melon. (ok, not quite as well on Melon, but damn close enough!) [ June 26, 2004, 11:02 PM: Message edited by: dangerousdave ]

  10. The follies of the Luftwaffe unit in charge of Stalag 13 are well documented.
  11. John, you know what they say about the AARs, they will be easier if you keep notes along the way. Of course, you can also just go back and reopen the files. Good luck! Kingfish, that's great. I will look forward to the finals, either way. The rest of you guys ..... go send your moves!
  12. Ok, I'm done with all five battles. Would you guys hurry up so I can read the AARs? Thanks for a great tournament guys. I'm looking forward to the next round. You get to play even if you don't formally advance, right? Not that I don't expect to advance of course .... heh heh
  13. When the World at War Stalingrad game came out, I was sure it was the best wargame ever. And it probably was at the time. Does anyone play that anymore? Evolution is a good thing. CMAK is the best wargame ever right now, as far as I'm concerned. However, there is still plenty of room for evolution. If not Battlefront, then someone else will do it.

  15. Tacops is a great game, if you want modern. The scale for CM is perfect for WW2 battles. If its graphics, then maybe someone could invest in upgrading those in Tacops. CM is about WW2. That's what it is. Why try to make it something its not? When this team has grown tired of it, they will move on to something else, then a new team will rise and strive toward the perfect WW2 tactical game. Right now, this is it. I hope they keep refining the WW2 game as long as they can tolerate it. Let others do modern.
  16. Yes, and why do they play football with a football?
  17. OK, that must be what I was doing, because it works. Thanks
  18. I have done some more experimenting on this by setting up a QB in a city. I am able to put units on the top floor of buildings in setup, but I cannot plot moves to the top floors during movement.
  19. I have been having what I think is a problem with multilevel buildings. When I plot my troops to move into one, I do not get the menu asking me which level I want to go to. I can't get them upstairs. I know that it won't work if the buildings are too damaged. But it seems too odd that every building I've tried in these two games is too damaged. Anyone else ever had this problem? Could it be some bug I have?
  20. I have an HQ unit (Co. HQ) spotting for mortars. The mortars in are command, the HQ can see the target. When I plot fire for the mortar, the line is not orange like it should be, but red. Any idea why this would happen?
  21. I'm going to guess this may have been requested before, but how about the ability to choose what folder you want to save your PBEM files into?
