I heard again and again that Battlefront is not willing to make a Pacific theater. What has got to happen, so that they will change their opinion?

What I'd really like to see in CMX2 (or even in CMAK 1.02)
Lucho replied to Folbec's topic in Combat Mission - Scenario Talk
Maybe you should choose scenarios, which have overlenght in turns, like Kamienka (ScenarioDepot; 120 minutes for 2000+points) or others. -
What are the bmp numbers for winterized German armour in CMAK, especially the Panthers?

Hi J4D, I have tested your North Korean conversion for CMAK and found only one flaw: The Ppsh41 is stretched far to bride (big) as it uses the MP40 bitmap number (1904).

So, I have finished a masterpiece! Henderson Field . The only thing I do not exactly know is where the watchtower/radiotower and most of the entrenchments, bunkers and gun pits were. Size about 1.5x1.5 km. Imagine me using calculator and lineal, trying to gather information from aerial photographies, copying most of the bomb craters to where they historically were and then to try to get a guess which elevations and vegation are where. Only with black-white photos. Yes, I am crazy.

I am just trying to model a map around Henderson Field. It is hard to do this, because I have to rely mostly on aerial photographies.

He has some maps he can share, some from scenarios I send to him.

Theike, you "scanned" the Solomons? What resources do you have?

Map modder grogs. Your maps are welcome.

Must have it, now...

Testers needed for map converter

Pyewacket, I have to thank you for your great little program! It helped me quite a lot. -
I had a strange experience with Combat Air Support: I played as Germans against the U.S. AI the scenario "(FGM)-CMAK-Move-it or Lose". It is a recreation of an old CMBO battle. Involved were in the later part of the battle even some P-51H Mustangs. These little buggers kept attacking my forces although the sky was covered! I know that air support can only be bought with the preferences set to clear. But how come that they fly in bad sighting and weather conditions? Maybe it is possible to buy CAS, switch the settings to night and have some night shows (tracers at night  ).

I am playing this scenario too, and I can not say if I like it. I used default setup. All the PzIVs got under concentrated artillery fire, three lost. Three Tigers rendered useless by 17- pounders. Some more losses of medium tanks in this ditch, le petite ravine. Now I am short of the last objective. The enemy lost 30+ Shermans. Lessons learned: Never let the infantry behind, create keyholed killzones, where many guns can concentrate on one spot and make sure you have some routes for withdrawal.

** New German Uniform Mod Posted! **
Lucho replied to AndrewTF's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Hey JUJU: Your FG-42 mod for the StG-44 is great, especially how the soldiers carry them. It reminds me of how MG-42 were carried sometimes on the march. Do you have a modded MG42 for the StG44 slot? -

After googling about half a day, I have not been able to find a map or better materiel for the inner city of Stalingrad. I need some resources about Train Station No 1, the Nail Factory, the Red Square, the Lenin Prospect, the (Gorki?) Theater, the Univermag and the riverside. Any suggestions, help, etc.pp ?

Well done, young Pawadan!

HC or HEAT projectiles are effective against 'soft' targets. Remember insurgents using RPGs against U.S. infantry in Iraq.

New Battle of the Bulge Scenarios on SD
Lucho replied to Mad Russian's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
O.k., I know this question is old, but I do not get it: Are there bmp.numbers for snow-covered trees (pines and woods), and if yes, what numbers? I think it is essential for late bulge scenarios to have some snow-covered trees or to have trees without leaves. -
Are any modders working on a Sealion total conversion?
Lucho replied to Andreas's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
On the scenario depot there is a map called Sealion1 Seabrook1 Kent by Nelson 1812, but it cannot be downloaded. http://www.dragonlair.net/combatmission/review03.php?UniqueID=22&Name=Sealion1+Seabrook1+Kent&g=12 Will there be more? -

Did the USSR have a Chemical Weapons program?
Lucho replied to Runyan99's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
I heard of two instances, where chemical devices were used by the Germans. One somewhre in Italy and another one in Poland. I am not sure about the real places and the time, but one happened during (in) a bombing of an Italian town. Any evidence?
