This is interesting...I have an old Dell Desktop Optiplex 755, Core 2 Duo, Win7, ATI HD 2400 Pro (256mb)Vid and it shows Fog for all my CMx1 games. However, there are blended earth-toned colored lines ( every half inch ) on monitor mixed in w/Fog that doesnt give a 100% realistic look, but good enough for game purposes. In contrast, I have an even older Compaq D510SFF Desktop, P4, Win XP, Nvidia MX40 (64mb) vid, and it shows Fog w/out those blended lines giving a 100% realistic look. Both my older Dell D810 Laptop, Win XP, ATI 600 Vid, and D830 Dell Laptop, Win XP, Nvidia 140, don't show Fog. Joe

Hello, I just purchased a used Dell Core 2 Due Desktop ( Dell Optiplex 755 ) W/ATI HD2400 Video Card, and having the same txt "White-Out" video issue ( didn 't have this problem with my older ATI X600 laptop vid ). The ATI HD2400 video didn't come Video Manager or software as I can't change any of the settings to see if it would help ( but will download one from the Dell website for future use ). Where did you find the ATI Video fix ? can you give me a link or just 'Copy & Past' it here. Thanx, Joe

Ok, all is working well with Tireias CMAK v1.04 update and my CMAK v1.03...We are now starting our first PBEM against each other. Thanks to Battlefront and other Forum Members here in resolving this issue. Joe

I'm the opponent that Tiresias is playing against. I have Win XP and have CMAK v1.03 from Battlefront & the CDV version and both are apparently incompatible with his CMAK v1.04. I also have CMBB from Battlefront & CDV and both work just fine with his CMBB v1.04 He is so far the only opponent that I have problems with regarding this issue. Joe

Hey Deckhard, I to also started Wargaming with my Dad many years ago, first started playing HO then Micro-Armor on a Table-Top...I still even have my collection. If you haven't already, then you should also get CMBB so you can enjoy both East & West Fronts. Many people have moved on from CMBO, and just modded CMAK ( a modded CMAK allows you to play N.A, Italy, & NW Europe ) to take its place since it has many improvements to the game engine. Cpl. Upham, I still play both BB & AK, and if interested in playing against a Human Opponent just let me know. I prefer small games that are 600-1000 points, QBs or upto Reinforced Company size Scenarios. I also have a few small must have mods from 'Combat Mission Mods Warehouse' that I collected over the years; Grassy Roads-Summer & Winter, Fields, Craters, Rubble, Small Arms, etc that I can send over to you...Just download in your CMAK BMP folder and all is good.
