  1. OK, Im impressed again. BTW is there any chance you could build us a windmill?
  2. Nice work friend! Please consider releasing it as a map even if you go on to make a scenario.
  3. Looks great! A bit more hilly than I would have imagined; always makes for nice surprise encounters. The patience it must take to complete such a grand design eludes me; however Im sure Ill download it and steal some sections for my own battles...hehehe
  4. Ahh, sorry Michael, yes I missed your post and I bow to your rightful elderliness (not sure if thats a word)! My 1st game was M1 Tank Platoon (Microsoft) but eventualy I worked my way through all the CM classics (BO, BB & AK). Then, Theatre of war which to me never lived up to the standards I came to expect and actualy eventualy took for granted from CM. I have high hopes for the 02 series to pick up the torch and carry us forward into the past.
  5. Well, it seems RevJak trumps us youngunz at 66! Is anyone out there willin to "fess up" as older????? RevJak are you a vet? I am, although not of combat. I am a Viet Nam era vet however I did not go to Viet Nam (Thank God). I was combat engineer (91st). I served stateside at Ft Belvoir Va. & West Point teaching both Cadets and officer candidates the dangers of landmine warfare.
  6. Nice work! Perhaps you or someone could paint a wrap around horizon (I dont know the technical name of the skyline art) that would match up with the autumn colors.
  7. I dont see how we could make many historical maps with a map maker that cant make a curve of any size and can only make 0 degrees, 45 degree and 90 degree straight roads; or am I missing something?!
  8. Rokko, Wow! Just awesome in deed. Props to you; this will be a GREAT contribution. So, I was just wondering... do you use desaturated terrain? Because I notice that the computer generated map appears to be under the shadow of a cloud compared to the distant horizon. Or in other words the surrounding border map appears "sun drenched" compared to the map texures you are using. Of course this could simply be the screen shot process or just my perception; at any rate, it doesnt take away from your brilliant work. I eagerly await further developments.
  9. Hi all, perhaps this has been brought up before but I havent seen it yet. I was wondering if anyone has tried a mod to attach foliage to camoflage tanks as Ive seen the Germans do so many times to try and evade allied air power??? Even if it was just for looks it would still be atmosperic; but it would be even better if it added a detection modifier against enemy AI checks.
  10. I didnt know this thread existed until today but I would direct you all to a thread I started recently http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=107390 It covers much of what seems to be covered here. But my BIG question is: where oh where are the Falshirmjeager troops???????????????
  11. I like your xmas wish list Sgt Shultz! I would be happy to see most of these implemented
  12. Impressive! Im using your modded buildings and am fully enjoying them in game.
  13. Good point umlaut, however the point may be lost because it realy could be Street cars (trollies) or buses or even the odd car or two or horse drawn carriages (civilian or military)! All to the same effect! There were THOUSANDS of killed and maimed horses as the Germans were still heavily relying on horses for many tasks. I would still settle for a few wrecked gliders. Perhaps a different game for me would be a relief for everyone. lol!
