My god, I really do think that Bo Diddley is genuinely scared of taking on my ready-to-die Frenchies in mortal combat! Turn 21/30 and he finally sends a HT tentatively forward, fires a quick burst, then reverses the hell out of Dodge!! Oh Hurrah.....well done old chap.......is that the best you got? When I've unhinged your brain(?) with the sight of hundreds of your scum bag cowards dieing around you, then I shall see to you...........Prepare to die! FOGS you yellow livered pile of excretia, what sort of an excuse is that.....accusing me of not sending a turn in my email? Are you worried about your wee doggie............well you should be, because I will eat it raw then send it's scabby tail back to you(will save you tight sod's on burial expenses)

Massive amounts snipped cos that nice Mr Berti demanded it Oh dear Pans & Pots, I think you rather asked for this........hehehehehe........... Games update: Bo Diddley continues to flounder around in the fog, picking off the odd drunken Frenchie. Come on man, I can't make it much easier for you! Joseph has sent forward a whole Panzershrek unit to attack my right flank, and is presently recieving free lead! Waiting to see if the 'orrible Jock, GOFS, SFOG, OSFG or whatever his name is will accept my setup. [ July 08, 2002, 07:20 PM: Message edited by: athkatla ]

Ummmmm, dunno, your birthdate isn't showing in your profile -
Now, now now, Ashcan, we've been through this before. I'm at work now. I'll send you a turn when I get home. Look at a clock. Now when the little hand is on the eleven (11) and the big hand is smacking you repeatedly in the head, you'll get your move. (I swear, they are so cute when they're this age!)</font>

Justicar, Senior Knights!, they mean nothing to me. On the field of battle, they will cower in their foxholes, wetting their nappies(diapers for you half wits over the pond), at the prospect of being savaged by my masterful tactics. I fear, nor bow down to no one...No one...... do you hear me? But enough of this verbosity, the simple message for Knights, senior or junior, is UP YOURS!

Oh damn, you mean to say we have to go look for it? Too damn lazy to put up a link!! I dunno, what will I do with these young 'uns...........no manners these days...*mumble*....only think about themselves.......*grumble*....*fart*.....not like it used to be in my day........*sniff* -
Originally vomited up by Bo Diddley <-------- get it?? Well there ain't no scumbag, sheepsha**ing aussies in my force old boy, so I can only assume that your wildly inaccurate, 'shot in the dark' arty is to blame for the demise of the itinerant beasties. Or maybe it was the ****load of smoke you dumped carelessly around the map that frightened them off!! I certainly couldn't fathom out any other reason for it

An Original Question (maybe!!)
athkatla replied to athkatla's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
LOL, ok thanks guys, I'm forever cursing at them, when really it's myself I should be cursing at, as I'm a lousy player, but it's great fun -
An Original Question (maybe!!)
athkatla replied to athkatla's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Thanks for your replies. I don't intend being "gamey" with these guys, I just wondered what would happen IRL. I guess all efforts would be made to get guys like Tank Commanders back into another tank, etc. I guess it is best to just clear them from the map, bearing in mind how expensive they are. -
900Mhz AMD Duron Processor, 128Mb RAM, Windows ME OS, 30Gb IDE Hard Drive, S3 Graphics Inc. ProSavage Display Adapter thingy  , Hitachi DVD/CD Rom Drive. Seems to work ok on these specs, hope CM:BB will too Oh, I forgot, I have NO 3D Graphics card!(Not that I know of anyway) [ July 07, 2002, 06:41 AM: Message edited by: athkatla ]

Well, it's a question I haven't seen before, so here goes. During the course of a battle, you can end up with quite a few waifs and strays, such as, tank crew, mortarmen who are out of ammo, ditto FO spotters, etc. My question is, if you put these guys in the front line are they of any use, i.e. do they have small arms, do they contribute to the firefight, or is it just best to walk them off your side of the map?
