  1. So far one - positive - response at the TW Center. So not exactly setting the site on fire. These guys don't know what they are missing!
  2. I hear ya but low def screens cannot do justice to these aspects. We need a high def Youtube video showing a couple of minutes of action. Yep, that's the ticket.
  3. Cool stuff - and getting 3 shots out of a BAZ is mighty lucky. My experience in CMBB with a schreck runs more like this: - Aim - Fire - Miss - SPOTTED - Reload - Pinned - Dead
  4. Hmmm...not sure that would be the case as it is a TW fan site - the largest - but not the Sega company site.
  5. I posted the news over on a major Total War franchise forum - and I am talking thousands of active members. It will be interesting to see what kind of response the post receives as, although there are few true grogs there (as we would characterize them), the constant whine on the boards - after AI complaints - is why can't the TW series be more historically accurate. Well, here is a game that actually does provide that experience. Wonder if there will be any takers?
  6. That appears to be a good idea as we have "Steiner" spouting his "Uber Alles" BS in one post - and his anti-US BS in another.
  7. Anyone have one for ATI cards? Specifically, is it best to use the CCC settings or set everything to application controlled - or a mix? Looking to max all settings out. Thanks in advance.
  8. Hey, perhaps this Sherman got nailed because the TC and loader were looking in the wrong direction? http://www.battlefront.com/images/stories/CMBN/Elvis_vs_JonS/3rd%202.jpg
  9. OK - BF answered your question, addressed your issue. We good here? Or do you plan to bring this issue up in yet another thread?
  10. Of course they're in - common as dirt.
  11. Now that is what I call attention to detail!
  12. Check out this shot: http://www.battlefront.com/images/stories/CMBN/Gall1/beta-2-screenshotb2.jpg Look at the detail: - Damaged schurzen - Bent fenders - Bucket - Tow cable ...oh, and this TC is smart enough to avoid the road crest - unlike his partner in tank #2. Great job BF!
  13. You are quite right of course as the Normandy experience (shock ) drove the development of the Jumbo. But I do remember seeing a Sherman "family" shot not too long ago that had it in there.
  14. Oh goody. But no Sherman Jumbo?? Oh well. Hey notice the Kraut Mk IV panzer commander in the last shot on the site? I see headphones! http://www.battlefront.com/images/stories/CMBN/pz-vh-h-late_500.jpg
  15. I am at work so I used Wikipedia. That cite appears to be backed up here: http://www.waffen-ss.no/diary-17-SS-Gotz-von-Berlichingen.htm
  16. To be a bit more specific: 1. The 17th SS Pzgr Div fought the Americans from June 11th onward. 2 Other SS units saw action against the US during the Mortain counter attack (Operation Luttich), Hitler's attempt to contain the Cobra breakout. ...and completely agree that the Commonwealth + Waffen SS module is the dogs balls!
  17. So, that means they still have about...hey wait a minute!?!
  18. Here is a higher def. link to that first Sherman picture above posted by Michael Emrys. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/49/M4-Sherman_tank-European_theatre.jpg The enlarged shot enables one to see that: - These are 14th AD tanks - unique star markings - This shot is probably from Feb-Mar '45 as the second tank is a late model M4A3E8 - That tank has extra welded on armor on the glacis and a chunk of bolted on armor on the turret - Yet those stars are still there - inviting a German AT round.
  19. Yes, the Axis TO&E will be expanded in each one - no seperate Axis modules.
