  1. Well I did point out the Sherman M4A3E2 (Sherman Jumbo) Assault Tank - last one in the last row. Form Wikipedia: "In June–July 1944, the Army accepted a limited run of 254 M4A3E2 Jumbo Shermans, which had very thick armor, and the 75 mm gun in a new, heavier T23-style turret, in order to assault fortifications." Yea, that may have been the original intent, but then battalion and company commanders soon figured out that they were quite handy at leading armored columns to act as shot magnets for German AT guns or prowling panzers.
  2. Agree with your point but must ask what it is that you believe will be missing regardin AT guns? Detailed crew animations?
  3. Today's games ain't like the games of even a few years back. Here is an un-shopped shot from the WW1 flight sim Rise of Flight - getting close to photo realistic, http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx153/Tom-cundall/CloseCombat2.jpg
  4. They are probably shooting for early Dec. for some obvious reasons - and w/ NATO very close - that could indeed happen.
  5. I am another very satisfied Cyberpower customer. Better value and you can build your own from the plentiful options they give you.
  6. Should be fine. D/L a Shock Force demo to be sure. Can I ask why the odd RAM gig number? Why not go to 4?
  7. Don't flatter yourself in thinking that your comments are anyway accurate, original or profound. I understand that you are probably now embarrassed to have made your original comments. You should be and let's leave it at that.
  8. Please keep the subject to the game. No one is really interested in your fallacious and disgraceful moral equivalency. Just sayin'...
  9. If memory servces Avigdor'a troops were mounted in Centurions - and it was 1973 - so no thermal imager, no laser rangefinder, no ceramic armor, and facing far superior numbers. Quite a heroic stand.
  10. (FIRST "the compliment") Damn Moon, that is impressive. And one can still get that manual for $9.00 US from Sonalysts. (THEN, "the nudge") ...so, ahh...when's that CM:N website rolling out there bud?
  11. I'm fine with this approach - as I plan to pre-order.
  12. Yes, Microprose was good. But...the most epic manual had to be for Falcon 4.0 - spiral bound and 100's of pages long. I haven't flown that sim in years - most likely never will again - but I will keep the manual.
  13. Understood. Agreed on less stress w/ WEGO. I tried RT w/ CMSF and found that I was missing too much and could not get ny orders in place fast enough. To each his own then and I am glad BF gives us a choice.
  14. Not to hijack this thread - but - "undeniable advantages"? How so exactly?
  15. Do you KNOW me from somewhere?!? You certainly know my habits. Scary.
  16. A 195 page manual sounds good to me. Heck, I would be happy with a beefy PDF vesion that I can go print. These days manuals are such an afterthought for most game companies and that is a shame. Yes, that is true. Call me old fashioned but I like to have something to read/reference when I dive into a game. Ha!!
  17. Assuming there is one of course. Are we going to see a CMBB type book - or a CMAK type booklet? What do you get now when you purchase CMSF?
