  4. Actually, I think it would be great to see a screenshot of a completely conquered world by the Axis. I'm not sure anyone ever accomplished this in Beta so this would be something to see for sure... good luck!
  5. Just an update that the file did show up as you mentioned in the MalwareBytes scan and I've contacted them to see if they can remove it from their database. Note, I misspoke when I mentioned that the file is removed upon installation, it is not but you can feel free to remove it as it is no longer needed once the game is installed.
  6. The file in question is specific to this release only but I will look into it a bit further. I'm scanning with MalwareBytes free edition to see what I can find on my end.

  9. Glad to hear you are enjoying the game Canada1 and for the manual while we don't have a comprehensive section on what is new you may have already seen all the new items are highlighted in blue so they stand out as you go along. Happy gaming Hubert

Yolo, I was about to make a list of adjustments to ease game play regarding supply and a few other items and as I started I figured it would probably be just as easy for me to finalize the steps and put together a campaign for you. I uploaded a custom mod in the Repository, I don't think you will miss it , and let me know if it plays any friendlier as it should be good to go from either side. For a quick recap I reduced some of the terrain movement penalties, adjusted the occupational supply in Russia, removed the most harassing Partisan and Supply events, removed a few of the extra AI units from the UNIT scripts, and removed the major weather penalties. I think there were a few other minor items but in general I think you get the idea. For the bugs, can you send me any turns you might have where this is repeatable and I will be happy to take a look, thanks! Hubert
  11. Ok in this case this is by design as Germany would only declare war if it was in the proper position to do so, and by your example above it sounds like this was the issue so if it had not taken France it would never DoW the USSR. Pretty much Germany was in trouble in that game
  12. I'll admit it is a very innovative idea wrt using the Editing capabilities of the game, but I'd be hesitant to make this type of change for now. Some changes don't always go over so well once a game has shipped, i.e. you have to be careful in this respect as we've got a more generic system in place for all unit types, but that being said David has been working on a mod of the originally released campaign and it sounds like he is thinking of incorporating that for those that would prefer this kind of setup. I'd be curious to see how it plays out
  13. Hi Pad152, I've scanned this file on my end with AVG and even Max Secure Spyware Detector and I'm not getting this type of hit. I'm tempted to chalk this one up to a 'false' positive by your Anti-Malware program as this is the first report of this kind after thousands of downloads for the Demo. Some background info on the file, it is just a simple EXE to register the required DLL and is then removed from your system once the Demo is fully installed so I'm a little surprised by the report considering the context as well. Anyone else? Hubert
  14. Interesting catch and looking at the scripts I can see that this might happen, question for you, how did you get the USSR to 100% without a DoW by the Axis AI?
  15. krrpt, I've been following your posts with interest and I understand the idea a game should be fun and in that vein I can completely understand your frustration here. I'm considering a few changes to the main campaigns that I think you will like and I just hope you can hang in there until then. Hubert
  16. This might be because you translated the name for 'Campaigns' into German, if so then you need to rename the folder to the German name or simply leave it as 'Campaigns' in the localization.txt file. This is the same for the saved game folders etc.
  17. Also I just double checked and there are over 40 decision events for the Alliance of Evil scenario split between the Axis and Allies, can you confirm that none of them appeared? Anyone else? I only ask as this is not repeatable on my end.

  21. This is a fair enough point and I can see how this would be a normal reaction even though I think you see now that it was never implemented with this intent. I'll see what I can do to make adjustments on the more controversial unit popups as what may seem normal to us developers after so long a time of production might not come across the same way to fresh players. If you are not interested in Patton Drives East then by far the best deal is to simply purchase the Bltizkrieg + Weapons and Warfare bundle as Weapons and Warfare provides the latest campaigns for the European Theater as well as the later engine improvements over Blitzkrieg and other additional features such as new unit types etc. Happy gaming Hubert
