  1. Perhaps the patch was corrupted in the download, I would suggest redownloading it and maybe even from a different location. A fresh installation might also do the trick for you, i.e. a clean uninstall followed by a full reinstallation. Hope this helps, Hubert
  2. Can you send me a saved turn where this is not possible?
  3. Thanks Robby1 and these are great suggestions, I'll see what I can do
  4. U8led, Indeed you are right as I only looked at the mobilization#2 and #3 events and for the #1 events these are run in game once you declare war... well for the most part and unfortunately the way they are handled is to run them behind the scenes while you are in the War Map and then pop up the messages once you exit, i.e. this is why you see the various mobilization %s increase or decrease in the war map each time you declare war. Anyways, long story short the way it is handled it does not make use of the images or sounds. In fact this is the only script that is an exception and I'll look into making a change down the road for this. Hubert
  5. Hi Alexandre, Thanks for the feedback and we'll be adding a few tweaks for the next patch including the Chenault decision as requested as that was indeed a good one for the Allied player in China. Hubert
  6. Hi Rocko1, I like the idea and I've added it to my wish list for the future. Thanks, Hubert
  7. Canada1, Thanks for the report and consider this fixed for the next patch.
  8. Thanks and this will be fixed for the next patch
  9. I just took a quick look at the code and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't unless it can't find the files. Can you confirm that the Media directory is a subdirectory of your modified campaign directory? For example it would be something like this: _WWIII\Media\war2.wav Hubert
  10. Can you send me a saved turn where I can repeat this? Send to support@furysoftware.com Thanks! Hubert
  11. Finally tracked this one down with the help of Armuss, consider it fixed for the next patch. Hubert
  12. Hi Quisquous, Welcome to the SC forums Thanks for your post and I'll try and help you as best as I can but to be honest I am not sure I understand many of your concerns. I can address some of the questions with a best guess as to what the issue might be but for others I was wondering if you could expand on the issues a bit. I'm not really sure what this means, i.e. lack of personal aptitude? Can you explain this further? I'm a bit confused on this one as well, the AI did not attack or was it that you could not attack? Can you provide a screenshot as well so we can have a better idea of what the perceived issue was? Was the port and city possibly reduced to below 5 in strength? If so then what you noticed would make sense as you are encountering a supply and infrastructure issue limiting your ability to reinforce and your ability to transport away from Ireland. I'm not sure what this means either, can you explain a bit further what the exact issue is? Hopefully with more detailed responses either I or other players familiar with the game will be able to help. Hubert
  13. Hi U8led, Sorry to hear about the trouble... can you send me your 'cgn' file and your convoy script? A turn where this crashes will also help me narrow down the issue. Send to support@furysoftware.com Thanks, Hubert
  14. Great idea and how about we just have it as a DECISION event suggestion thread. We can then have players vote on their favourite ones and add some in for a future patch? What do you think? Feel free to start a thread and I will sticky it. Hubert
  15. Hi Jdog32382, If you edit the campaign dates you will also unfortunately have to edit the Victory Conditions as these are usually tied into the start and end dates. The file should be pretty straight forward to edit and can be found under Campaigns->Edit Event Scripts. For the AI, yes if you change the start date then you also have to edit all the AI scripts accordingly as well. It is a bit of work but pretty straightforward once you get started. Hope this helps, Hubert
  16. Hi Lampcord, There was a small issue with the first patch, if you redownload from this link and run it again it should be fine. http://www.battlefront.com/u.php?445867604 For the minor air units this is expected behaviour, i.e. they are restricted to their home territories, but major units are not. Hope this helps! Hubert
  17. That was a temporary link until Battlefront updated the patch, try this link instead: http://www.battlefront.com/u.php?445867604
  18. Thanks Wushuki, consider it fixed for the next patch.
  19. Thanks Akiva, this is a nice list and we'll see what we can do. No promises of course
  20. They would be counted as one of the available units when setting the size but otherwise they are automatically attached to a offensive script, even if it exceeds the size and they were previously unassigned, and the game engine will handle setting them to prepare and air drop as well.
  21. Thanks and if you can duplicate it, sometimes it is a specific sequence that will set it off, let me know because I have a feeling it is not your software configuration as we made some changes to the code there and something may indeed be amiss, even if rare. Hubert
  22. 1. That might be a bug, can you send me a turn so I could take a look and see what the problem might be? 2. This might be a combination of some carrier purchases coming at the same time as those that are set to come off of the Production Queue at game start. If this is the AI then it may also receive a few extra Carriers as well.
  23. Thanks David and if you can tell me the exact steps you proceeded with to create the crash that will be most helpful as I am having a hard time repeating it. Hubert
