  1. ariel1977, Try the latest patch and it should resolve the issue for you. Currently Blitzkrieg is at v1.08 and includes several Vista corrections. Hubert
  2. Thanks Ebitt, this will be fixed for the first patch. Hubert
  3. kg_norad, I believe there is still an active community over at Panzerliga, website can be found here: http://www.panzerliga.de/ Hubert
  4. SeaMonkey, Good catch and it looks like I introduced this bug as I needed to deal with the situation for when Subs were in 'Silent' mode but the player selects a final destination tile that actually has an enemy unit. Looks like I handled this situation too well and it has stopped Subs completely. Anyways, long story short this is now sorted out and will be corrected for the next patch. Hubert
  5. The simplest way to resolve this is for both of you to play the exact same campaign, i.e. to both play the German version of the campaign or the English version. All you need to do is to make sure you both have the same *.cgn file as well as the same subdirectory for the campaign. Hope this helps, Hubert
  6. Don, Vista has a little quirk that we are going to resolve with the next patch. For a simple workaround right now, please navigate to your installation directory and then click on 'Compatibility Files' in the tool bar of your Windows Explorer which will take you directly to something called a Virtual Store folder. See more of the details about this in the following link: http://www.hanselman.com/blog/VistasShowCompatibilityFilesAndTheScrumptiousWonderThatIsFileVirtualization.aspx After this simply open the sc2.ini file for editing and add the following line: #VIDEO_ACCELERATION= 0 This should allow you to start the game as it normally would. Let me know if this helps, Hubert
  7. Hendriks65, Glad to hear you are enjoying the game For some of your questions, if Finland does not join via diplomacy they should join once the Axis near Leningrad. For surface ships, they currently cannot hunt supply lines like subs. Hubert
  8. Vicco, Unfortunately not an official version at this time. Hubert
  9. AZGungHo, For the temporary workaround, launch the main AVG program and then go to Tools->Advanced Settings->Resident Shield->Advanced Settings From there you should see an entry with the text "Always scan files with the following extensions:" Simply remove the entry for .cpl file type as Martin described above and then hit 'Apply'. It should then run the game as expected. Hubert
  10. Looks like the order was done incorrectly for Storm, I will correct this for the first patch. Hubert
  11. Hi Minty, Glad you liked the improvements to the WaW AI... and the good news is that it will only get better Hubert
  12. When a minor country joins a major is it not random, i.e. sometimes Italy will join at the end of the Axis turn and sometimes at the end of the UK turn? Hubert
  13. Hi Steven, Glad to see that the game is working much better now I experimented with this a bit and there were a few issues that came up.... none that I think are insurmountable but at the time there were more important considerations that I needed to look after, i.e. one of the difficulties of running a one man development shop is that there is never enough time. No promises but I'll see what I can do for down the road. Hubert
  14. Could be the port strengths as the connecting ports both need to be > 5 in strength.
  15. In this particular case, while the ice appears to cover the entire escape from Archangel, the convoys and Soviet naval loops are allowed to continue in order to simulate the historical passage of material during the Winter months in this particular area. Granted it was mostly to Murmansk but since this vital port is not on the map, Archangel is used as the next best substitute. Hubert
  16. xwormwood, This is just game semantics/mechanics since Germany is already a part of the Axis, i.e. at 100%... so when the UK reaches 100% it is just another way of saying they have now declared war on Germany or as you noted in game, "Joined the Allies". For this particular campaign, the event that triggers the UK is simply a check to see how close Axis naval units are to England, i.e. 4 tiles from Chatham port or 3 tiles from Hull. So if you keep them far away enough then the UK will of course not take notice. Hope this helps, Hubert
  17. Fred19, Good catch and I'll make an adjustment so that the Diplo chits are returned in this case. Hubert
  18. Yes and it should be available shortly if all goes well. Hubert
  19. Good catch, that is a bug that is now fixed for the first patch. Hubert
  20. Great to hear it is working and we will hopefully adding some code so this can be avoided entirely for those with UAC enabled. Hubert
  21. Timskorn, Thanks for running the contest and congrats to AzGungHo and now Udet Hubert
  22. voncasey, yes if Alex was the final UK capital and it is retaken by the Allies it should then re-enter the war. The accumulated MPPs can then be used or used by the UK minors such as Canada in the meantime. Hubert
  23. Yes we will shortly be adding this option to the Patton Expansion as well. In the meantime you can try running the game in 16 bit mode to see if that helps, i.e. go to the in game SETTINGS option and if for example you are running the game in 1280x1024x32, try running it in 1280x1024x16 to see if that helps. Hubert
