  1. Ok here's the before: And After: The key is to move them to the corner, where the two walls meet. If they cross anywhere else they'll be fine. They went from ready-> tired-> fatigued-> exhausted in less than two seconds. This squad is now perma-exhausted for the rest of the battle. Now having said that, I would like to officially apply to the beta tester team. Perhaps reserve a slot for the East Front family.
  2. This is from an older scenario, it's birdstrikes "The Farm". Ok I think I figured it out, brb. It's easy to reproduce.
  3. Speak of the devil, this just happened to one of my squads. The temp is cool, all troops are weakened, but the squad barely moved at the start and they went right to exhaustion. The rest of that platoon and another toon was fine. I continued anyway to see how long it takes for them to recover, so far it's been 37 mins and counting. I've heard of this bug before, IIRC this is only the second time I've seen it myself.
  4. We're a virus with shoes, that's all we are!
  5. Looking good, nice job. I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been many mods for the M1. The kind that are weathered or with more varied markings, since the stock skin has such great detail. In reality, are the crews allowed to do any personalizing with their tanks? I do recall a pic with "Dubya's Piecemaker" written on the barrel. But I of course would never use it as a mod since I consider him THE worst president in this nations history.
  6. ...But sadly all this time in the hayloft with no bathroom and no toilet paper, her panties have horrible skid marks. Not a deal breaker for sure, but still.
  7. For the love of a fake god, just don't forget the cow and especially the cowbell. Otherwise, your fired!
  8. Very nice indeed, looking forward to the finished mod.
  9. I vaguely recall somebody saying they tried this and it didn't work. I could be wrong though. Surely this would have been done in past scenarios, considering most don't like the early AI surrenders.
  10. Keep in mind though, older dormant Steam accounts are also factored into that as well. So I'd say that 20% single core users is certainly higher than it should be. This is driven down when more multi-core users submit their survey. But yeah, mainstream Steam users will always have higher end systems than BFs customer base. Still a good measuring stick though. I bet if you guys did a survey of your customers you'll be surprised single core is not the norm at all. Times have changed since CMx1, if you bought a new PC in the past 3-4 years, odds are it's at least Duo core. Perhaps a newsletter survey poll sent out to all who bought CMSF and any modules would work wonders. I honestly don't think customers would feel alienated, they'll just simply upgrade. I know a few that did when CMSF went gold. Your customers are much older with income rather than little Jimmy bugging mom and dad for a beefy PC. I think most would be willing to pay more for a CPU to play a superior product.
  11. So.... then what's the word on Duo and Quad core support? No the excuse that wargamers are typically behind the normal gaming tech trends is not valid anymore, was fine three yrs ago. At least in relation to multi-core support, these CPUs have been on the market for quite awhile now. Besides, we all know CMx2 is CPU extensive, so it certainly needs it. I'd think it's time to take advantage of already existing CPU horsepower.
  12. Sooner or later, they pretty much have to I would assume. This has also been brought up a few times in the past. I think the word was that nothing for CMSF and not CMN but after that, maybe. Search would find more info probably.
  13. Really, this has been fixed? I'm asking because I sure haven't seen it. I've watched on many occasions where my AFV engage a target and swing the turret back to the forward position right after losing sight. Then shortly later re-acquiring the same target is no different then the first time. Oh and by the way, congrats Steve, you just broke the record for saying "wonky" in a single post.
  14. So he's a fan of Sly's Cobra movie, who cares.
  15. I was just describing his post, by referring to what happens in the game engine in relation to what the player sees. As Dietrich pointed out, he doesn't mind when this doesn't translate properly. I usually don't mind too, which is why this is not a game-breaker. But there are plenty of times this is a real problem, especially around buildings.
  16. The words lost in translation come to mind.
  17. Pretty much every battle I play I see wonky LOS issues, especially when targeting buildings. I thought about starting a new thread with a bunch of pics but figured why bother, everybody knows about it and there would be a ton of pics to post.
  18. That's because you already have it, it's the default main campaign that ships with CMSF.
  19. The bit about the Soviet premier telling the Soviet leader that Washington has drawn up detailed plans for nuclear war against the USSR in response to this threat to China. This just seems to be drumming up drama. It's the middle of the cold war, both sides already have detailed plans for full nuclear war with each other.
  20. I think the cover arc is what caused this behavior. Next time dump the arc and just let them do their own thing, don't manually target. Also make sure they're unhidden too.
  21. Yeah but if it misses the AFV then your f*cked!
  22. You see this is what happens when browsing porn sites and then clearing the cache/history. All in order to hide the evidence from the wifey or kids. Shame on you Luke, you porn lover!
