  1. Silly question, not sure where to put it...if I buy the disk version for MAC, once I use my activation code, do I still need to insert the disk to play? I am kind of a luddite, like the hard copy manual and disk, but HATE to have to insert it to play.... Thanks in advance
  2. Oy, by the way, noticed that I'm a SENIOR MEMBER, when the heck did that happen....hmmm, does BFC give senior discounts?
  3. WOW, JUST WOW...I can't wait...those infantry and vehicle shots were magnificent...
  4. WOOOHOOO, in the next couple of days, could someone post the system requirements for MAC? I want to see if I can use my ATY,RadeonX1600 with 256 MB VRAM and my 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo under OS 10.5.8 on my MACBOOK PRO. Thanks very much. AND THANKS VERY MUCH for putting it out for MAC.....the joy is back!!!
  5. Wow, Schrullenhaft thanks for the help..those directions were perfect. I am now all installed, patched and ready to go...where to start?
  6. Thanks guys, glad I asked, I probably would not have known to patch ALL the modules. I appreciate the help...hopefully I can keep from gooning it up.
  7. OK, there was a thread around here, but I can't find it. I have the original Paradox CD, and am getting all the modules on CD for Xmas (good intel, I know) I also have the 1.10, 1.11, CM Marines 1.20, and CM 1.21 patches as stand alone downloads. SOOO, 2 questions. I already have CMSF Marines installed and patched to 1.21 (I downloaded it, but wanted a CD for posterity or a new computer, my ludditeness) So what is the preferred way to install CMSF British and NATO and the latest 1.31 patch? Also, IF I wanted to start ALL OVER on a new machine what would be the order of installation from my 1.01 Paradox CD? Thanks for the help, I need something I can stash on my ultimate CMSF backup CD and refer back to...
  8. Silly question, but very important...I assume that if I can run CMSF and CMSF USMC on my machine, I have enough horsepower to run CMSF NATO... I had to ask because my MACBOOK PRO with the ATI x1600 is clearly getting a little long in the tooth...but I love it.....and I really think I must have this for Christmas....
  9. Okay a couple questions, hopefully none silly or redundant: 1) I purchased the Marine Module about a year ago and have installed it on my MACBOOK. If I wanted to install it on my iMac, I should be able to do that right? I have the full CMSF_Marines_.exe file and the full license key code. Can I just install and follow the prompts to register? 2) I am interested in purchasing the NATO module, but did not purchase the British module. Can I run the Marine and NATO, but not the British? and finally.......any word on the MAC version of CM: Normandy?...haven't seen any bones lately.... Thanks much

  11. Ummm, sure...how do I upload? I can zip them okay, but I, sadly, have only downloaded from the Scenario Depot? A link perhaps?
  12. I have both of those scenarios...send me an email and I will send them to you.
  13. If you want to read operational histories...this is the best site out there. http://usacac.army.mil/CAC2/CSI/SpecialStudies.asp#B2B
  14. Ok, silly question. I have the Paradox base game and the Marine module...I assume I will load the Marine Patch? Both? (hopefully there will be patch 1.2 for dummies directions)
  15. All, Thanks, I am just picking up CMSF again. There is lots of cool stuff for the USMC module, so I may just pick it up now and then rebuy everything for MAC, just to make sure the Battlefront guys have enough beer money!
  16. Thanks Major, So would you recommend just taking the plunge and plunking down the $25 for the USMC module?
  17. Quick question, I noticed that some designers emphasize how much of their scenario is "infantry-only". SO, Does anyone have a list or thread that shows which of the scenarios at CMMODS are mostly infantry. I am trying to sharpen my skills, particularly in MOUT. At this time I don't have the USMC module..I am holding out hope that an OSX version will be available shortly...although it is getting harder to hold out. Thanks in advance
  18. Any bones on this topic? It's been awfully quiet lately
  19. Hi, I have been out of the loop for several months...is there any update on the Mac verision of CMSF not that the British Mod is done? I can't find any update in the forums. Thanks
  20. Kam, I suppose if you sent an email to cavalrycharge@cox.net I can send it to you...it's not much I'm afraid
  21. Howdy, I haven't made much progress lately. I was going to read Mark's comic tutorals, but have been very busy. I have a basic document to upload if anyone wants it, but this thread has been pretty quiet lately. My ultimate ambition would be to produce something like the old tutorals that came out for CMBO, but I haven't played enough to develop my own LL yet. Sorry
  22. Okay, Maybe I didn't understand that completely...anyway, thanks much looking forward to the module
