Hi John, I assume you mean 256MB...yea my previous iMac had the old ATI x1600 video card which wouldn't even run CMBN version 1.0. So yea i am very happy. I still have that old Mac in my attic. Still runs. Gonna want till it's a collectors item then clean up on eBay. -/:)

Actually, what i meant to say was in 30 years of own MACS...my first Mac was the 9.5" 512KE with the awesome 800K 3.5" floppy drive. I have owned a number of iMacs and am really enjoying my 21" bad boy with 1G of video Ram for the full goodness of CM. Oh, yea, that multicolored iMac did go well with CMBO...

Buzz..that was an awesome tip...after 30 years, still learning new tricks for my iMac. Probably because 30 years ago didn't need to use the Accessibility options. In any event that makes the small CMSF font perfect. Thanks much!

Fellas...is there any way to make the briefing text BIGGER...LIKE BIGGER readable. Oyyy, even with my bifocals, I squint a LOT to read the briefings on CMSF. CMBN and CMRT...are better and much more readable but another bump up in font size would be great. Just a thought.

Wow...those vids were awesome. Thanks for sharing. So, how soon might we see some infantry combat. Especially some infantry URBAN combat. That was my favorite part of CMSF as it would neutralize some of the high tech and turn things into another Grozny or Fallujah. And of course would love to see how the new infantry looks.

So, since advice is free..here are my ideas: 1) I would love to return to the Middle East....a US/Iran game would offer a lot of unique twists...the Iranians have an interesting mixture of US/Soviet equipment....very different forces in their regular/Revolutionary Guards forces (which are basically Iranian Waffen-SS troops)...and you could add in some very capable irregular forces as well. Combined with the terrain variation and the ability to include US/British/Arab Gulf forces...it could make for a huge combination of equipment and forces to play with...and maybe some IDF special forces too, huh? 2) AND of course, I would also love an early WWII game...just think of the German/French or German British tank battles you could have. I have been reading up that the 1940 campaign was not the runaway German victory history has portrayed, but a very near run thing that could have very well turned out differently....and, of course, I would love to make some Operation Sea Lion scenarios. In the meantime CMBS is preordered...CMFI/GL is on the way...it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

AHHHH...my problem is solved....Sorry about the OCD rant...these are the ONLY games I play, so I get a little starkers when they don't work...I am in the middle of the Devils Descent and Task Force Raff campaigns... ANYWAY...the issue was my license keys dropped out of the system during some system upgrade. The BFC guys had the problem fixed before lunch so BAMMMO CMBN tonight baby!!! Always superior customer service. NOWWWW...about the CMSF hot fix......

On the contrary...I followed the instructions exactly. My CMRT patch worked just fine. My Base game worked fine. I did open up a ticket. It just seems like a lot of hassle for a patch.

What is particularly frustrating is that I have never had an issue with the license key. I installed the ENITRE game from individual CDs in the Mac Big Bundle without a hitch. Ditto when I bought the 3.0 upgrade. I understand the need for DRM, but wowza, for a patch? Logically speaking, why would you pirate a patch? I mean it states quite clearly that if you don't have 3.0 which you must buy, then the 3.11 patch won't work...DUH...so why make everyone go through the hassle of re-licensing your modules? Seems like a bit of an overkill and a huge hassle. I just want to play...now I can't until this Charlie Foxtrot is fixed.

ARGHHHHHHHHH...WTF???? I downloaded 3.11. Installed. OK Input 3.0 license key when prompted OK Entered CW module license key from CD case-INVALID KEY Entered MG module license key from CD case-INVALID KEY I used the ACTIVATE NEW PRODUCTS shortcut from the Documents folder in my CM Battle for Normandy folder. WTF am I doing wrong?????? YUP..MEGGA FREAKIN' torked off...never had a problem with the activation process before. Downloaed CMRT patch and validated just fine. Tried to reinstall modules and make sure I entered all the License Keys. EVERYTHING worked fine until the 3.11 patch. Don't know what the deal is...but my BIG BUNDLE should be working fine...don't know what the problem is.

Quick question....apologies if some already asked. IF I have saved games NOT PBEM but just plain old saved games from a campaign...and I install the 3.11 patch...will that mess up my saved games? I am still trying to defeat one scenario...have lost 4 times and don't want to start over. Thanks
