  1. I don't treat all newcomers with disdain - just potty-mouthed retards.
  2. Watch yer mouth. You want to play sweary sweary, then push off to the playpen. Otherwise, thank Mr Windsor nicely for helping you out and move along. [ February 26, 2003, 05:24 PM: Message edited by: Soddball ]
  3. I know. Two sins in one sentence. "By coincidence, I was in the corpse pit of the Hellhole of The Spanish Inquisition...."
  4. Seanachai, don't you think it's about time you told the truth about this whole sordid affair? Don't you crave the release of honesty? Don't you seek the recognition that heartfelt confession will bring you? Your aching soul will sing, sing to be freed from the dementia that grips it now. Your ears will flip back and forth for the sheer joy of it. Your nipples will dance a tango, and your very skin will shiver with delight and head down to the hardware store to buy a bottle of meths. Admit the truth, Seanachai, and let go of the lies. Admit it. We are one and the same person. Tell them all about the operation, and the cockerel, and the sack of coal.
  5. Two hundred. When you earn 10,000, you can trade them in for a BFC poster of a Tiger Tank. Alternatively, you can use your 200 points to obtain four copies Lula:Wet Attack
  6. I don't think this "Red Army Vodka" quite compares with Smirnoff Red Label.
  7. Listen to yourself! You know the truth, stop denying it. Tell them about the operation. Tell them what really happened.
  8. Hey! He's escaped! Get back in, you little toad. My updates, for lo, there are many: MindlessGoofBall is grumbling about ammo shortages. I have rectified this by supplying his tanks with extra 75mm AP. Unfortunately, without a loading crane to hand, I was forced to deliver them through the side armour of one of his T-34s. Sad, but true. MikeTTTTTTTT and I are trading machine gun and mortar rounds in our 800 point all-infantry set-to. It's most taxing and I recommend small all-infantry games to really get the feel of frustration and body parts. Jussi Flamethrower is working his way to the end of Inferno. Body parts and mangled vehicles litter the dark, wooded terrain and the forests roar with flame. Job done. I have other PBEM games going on, but they are too interesting to even mention to a bunch of nobbly scrotes like you lot.
  9. MasterGoodale is not governed by Peng. MasterGoodale is governed only by the laws of frot. Back! Back to your thread, say I!
  10. GRRRARRRGRGHARGARHAR!!!  Let me tell you how many slack arses I have kicked today! Only GOODALE was man enough to send me a turn last night. I know Mike the Wino is out of town at a Middle Management Corkscrew Development Convention for Corkscrew Salesmen - but what about the rest of you fags?
  11. Quote snipped to make Goodale's Cheery waffle more interesting. What nonsense. You speak total nonsense. Whining about graphics still doesn't excuse a fortnight of non-turn-sending - bitch. If I was on my death bed, choking and bleeding as pus and blood flew from my foaming lungs across the room, if my legs were torn to shreds from having been put through a combine harvester, my arms broken by a Terminator with a migraine, my ears sawn off by a deranged Mr Orange with a chainsaw, I WOULD STILL DELIVER MY TURNS AND NOT WHINE LIKE A FAGGY BLENDER!!!!!   "oooh, my graphics are all wrong! Please don't hurt me! My all-boy leather and baby oil action has worn my sphincter to a nubbin so I can't play!" Don't give me that bulldish Goodale! Get pumping!
  12. I think I'd like to see them in Alphabetical order. It will make it much easier to track down the unit you're after (I think).
  13. Mr Pink has delivered his turn to Mr Green - Teddy and I have kicked off. Haven't seen the map yet, though.
  14. I just ran a quick test for you. 10 German 50mm mortars hidden in woods, targetting an SU-76 and an M5 halftrack stuck in rough 140m away. Turn 1: Halftrack hit by two 'top penetrations', both of which injured a crewmember and forced the remaining crew to bail out. SU-76 immobilised by a mortar round and a 'top penetration - no serious damage' was scored. Turn 2: SU-76 lasts 20 seconds before bailing due to multiple 'top penetration' hits. One or two actual hits were enough to knock out the enemy vehicle. However, total ammo used: 300 rounds carried (10 mortars x 30 shots each) 158 rounds left = 142 rounds used to achieve 6 hits on stationary vehicles who were unable to return fire.
  15. Enigma asked if the Tiger's invulnerability was a myth. I said "yes". He didn't ask about superiority. So whilst the Tiger is superior under certain circumstances, it is not invulnerable - which is what I said earlier.
  16. 10 days have now ticked by GAGWOMBLE - only 4 left and you are my wife.
  17. Here at the Forum (with a capital F), we like to look for as high a standard of spelling and grammar as possible. If you don't make an effort to make yourself understood, you can't expect sensible answers. We're not effete snobs - just snobs.
  18. Nobody's saying that Tigers and King Tiger's aren't good. What you asked was whether they were invincible, and the answer is no. On the western front, the British Sherman Firefly and the American Hellcat had the measure of the Tiger gun for gun, but the Tiger's armour allowed it to outlive its allied opponents. You can beat the Tiger by getting it out of its natural terrain. Fight it in close quarters, such as towns, cities, woodland. Make sure the weather's wet or the ground is damp and your chances will improve. Keep close in and aim for flank or rear shots to improve your chances.
  19. Pay no attention to my froth-cheeked chums, Mr Egnmai. Basically, no tank is invincible. The Tiger in 1942 is pretty close to invincible, as is the KV-1 in 1941. The King Tiger isn't invincible, but it is pretty tough. It also suffers from a very slow rate for turret turn. Some of the T-34s (T34-85) should be able to give the KT a shock. You'll find as you play the game that there are some real surprises. The lowly StuG III, much derided and disliked in CM:BO as inferior to the late Panzer IV, really proves its value in this game. I have had StuGs knock out IS-2s at 500m or greater range. It is, however, a victim of bogging and wet ground.
  20. The myth is wrong. No tank is invincible. The game's armour modelling is second to none in terms of accuracy.
