Just started using the VATS system, much better than trying to get sneaky lil buggers who constantly slip out of view. Plus the added enjoyment of watching some raider's dome explode....quite nice. Be careful using the bat in mixed company. I was going to town on Burke and accidently popped someone which set the rest of the bar on me. Karma dropped a bit there, let me tell you. Probably didn't help that I raided the armory after that.....

I had a similiar conversation with one of my housemates last night and was surprised which she brought up this aspect. I can't say that I have honestly given two shakes of lamb's tail to what the rest of the world thought, it has always been about which one could better lead the country in my eyes. She was quite the opposite, believing that some fer-rin country should have a stack in our country. Strange days. It will definitely be different. I feel strangely optimistic while the conervatives run around like it's the end of the world and the libs, even though they won, are STILL pissed. WTF?!?!?!?

OMG, this has 'time sucker' written all over it. There should be a warning plastered on the outside of the box. Thank god I had an extra hour this morning. As it was I still didn't get out of the house on time. :-( Got outside and WOW, lots to see and do.

On a positive note. Today marks yet another, mostly peaceful, transfer of power from one individual to another. Throughout history these events involved the death of at least one person, that in power, but more often than not shed the blood of hundreds, if not thousands. So, despite any political leanings one way or the other, we should at least take a moment to acknowledge this wacky experiment of democracy.

Bought this over the weekend for the 360 based on the positive feedback. Is there a difference between the console and comp versions? Figured with the combat it would look better on the TV (bigger). Unfortunately was out of town all weekend so I have to wait til I get home. To see what's what.

I don't see how to make my units advance or stay put. Only finished the second round but I built infantry to hold the trench, then bombarded the Huns, when their morale was low built only assault troops to go over the top. Am I missing some of the controls?

I don't buy into the whole 'nuclear winter' scenario. There wasn't much to the Death Star. It's not like it was carved out of a hunk of solid metal. Plenty of walkways span vast nothing-ness. My vote is for a pretty light show as the thing fragments upon re-entry and mostly burns up.

Wear a cup. You are not supposed to get one in the junk but some ass took a cheap shot when I was walking off the field, gun over my head. It hurt like a mother. But it was a nice shot, guy must have been 100 yards away.

One would hope, alas that is not always the case. I had the pleasure of being public thrown under the bus at a shareholder's meeting as a condition of a 3 month's severance. It was the most horrifying experience of my life. I wanted to jump up and scream 'LIARS!!! You F*ED this company up, not me'. But I didn't. It was so patently obvious that neither myself nor my department were responsible for the financial mismanagement that people kept coming up to me at the shareholder's reception and offering kind words. I felt vindicated in not saying anything bad about the company, the COO (total spineless, 'Yes'-man) or the CEO (cheating, philandering sociopath). I would never work with any of those people ever again, save one person who was my mentor and is great friend still. You success elsewhere is your best revenge. May you rise above this and find that which brings you joy and that you find rewarding.
