  1. Speaking of road systems and map size, what is the expected map size going to be. With 2-3km direct fire, 4-8km missile fire, etc. how big will the maps actually be? Or will we have a similar problem that we had in CMBB where the German long range tank fire was somewhat restricted by map size.
  2. and here I heard that the GMLRS was not performing well in the desert. I may have to get back with my Army ammo buddies and see what's what.
  3. Well, heck....we're just used to MadMatt's method of operations....can't you see the scars?
  4. Yes thank you. As a GM in the Onion Wars, this kind of thing will be VERY HELPFUL!
  5. Just thought that the GMs of the OnionWars would offer thier services to beta test the program on a running campaign. If interested just drop an email to netcherfamily@yahoo.com for Wes Netcher
  6. Don't worry Peng your girls weren't there so its those other parents fault for allowing thier girls to become weak. This complement bought and paid for by a fifth of burbon
  7. You must be one of those Giant fans, really you have a couple of adequate games against future teams with losing records and somehow your set to win it all. BAH! More likely they were breathing fresh, untainted air and didn't realize that was oxygen. I must agree with The Pengster having kids in soccer is a blast. My five year old boy, Zach hanging outside the scrum that develops when sixteen 5-6 year old kids attempt to play soccer. The ball squirted out toward him and with intense consentration stuck the ball. It roll ever so slowly into the goal, tieing the game as the whistle blew. Obviously a stellar career ahead of him.
  8. I hadn't realized the French had surrendered again. Explains Andreas' reason for being in neverland.
  9. Personally I would like one of two titles....BFC please feel free to rip them off and run. 1. Hammer's Slammers...Its got tanks, artillery, APCs (combat cars), infantry, etc. Plus its new and a lot of fun...something no one has done well or in a long time. 2. XCOM. While I know the actual XCOM is untouchable, there are a set of books by Harry Turtledove where Aliens with modern day tech come in a try to take over the world in WWII (1941-42) time frame. Very fun to read. Something about manuvering my armored units to contain and then crush an alien horde sound fun.
  10. After almost four years of posting THIS is the only thing about OGSF that bothers you? Good god, you pathetic weasel sniffer, there is sooooo much more to wonder at than that. First there is the "Scotish" accent that really sounds Irish, then the facination with his Cocker Spaniel, the spittle over Germanboy, and the haggis. Of all of this you pick up the Irish tinted, pretend Scottish "Carp"?.... Its ok, Boo, the shallow end of the pool is that way, try and drown on the way there it will make everyone's life just a little brighter.
  11. By God Sir Shaw your old age and placement in Spanish Fork, Utah have addled your pathetically small, liquor soaked brain. I was a squire of shudder Marlow. Of course you would forget about me as venturing in to Sir Lorak's website to save me picture was apperently too difficult a task for you. If I knew you actually sent turns back I would challenge you, but fighting you would present all the challenge of putting kittens into a sack and dropkicking them.
  12. Bah,Andreas finds a bride, and Peng's daughters actually have talent. The world's gone to hell in a handbasket I say. Even Berli is looking heavenward at the fortitude poor Germanboy's wife must have to put up with that bespecticuled geek.
  13. While I like the module idea, how will this effect PBEM/TCPIP opponents that do not have the same modules. Ex. I have: Base Normandy 44 Brit Pac 44 MY opponent has: Base Normandy 44 Med 42 Can we still play a game or do we have to have the same modules?
  14. Personally I'm waiting for "Hammer's Slammers". 15cm plasmaguns is something I'm looking forward to.
  15. Ah, to be yound and free with nary a care in the world. Were we ever this innocent? HELL YA!!! Fatty & Sygel, Not making fun of you, you have asked for probably the most requested item since CMBO and it tickled my funny bone. Here's hoping you enjoy CMAK and CMX2 when its out
  16. Yes, Happy Birthday you lover of all that goes "BOOM" in the night, especially that IL-2 you are so fond of. As for you Boo that damn scenario was a concoction of Shaw's I belive and he put some inane password on it, and even if its not his I blame him anyway. Send a new setup while I ponder Hawking's theories and develop the UberPassword to crack that code.
  17. Oh lookie an Old One awakes from his drunken debauchery. Not that there is anything wrong with debauchery in the right hands, but the thought of a debaucherous Seanachi even makes the flesh peddlers in Korea {signing} Turn OFF the red light. Send the file you gnome, I know your kind. The killing of hapless trees will force you into a frenzy. Just you wait.
  18. I had forgot your future humiliation in that file Boo, by all means let me continue to pummel you into something resembling Bulgoki. The address is in the profile. Shaw, I clearly see the effect of Smith's brand of tequila, combined with the stunning night life of Utah have completely finished the three working brain cells you had remaining. Perhaps the Justicar would like a nice chair right here....there you go, just sit back and mumble to yourself about the "Glory Days" when you had Hiram by the "short hairs". Although I shudder to think what you could mean by that. Perhaps I will reword my challange for you... UNGH.....East Front...BANG....ARRGHH...CMBB...you...die...send setup... There see, if you have trouble just have one of those nasty serf or squires you pick up for a night of debauchery translate for you. Speedy, trust me. The thought of being this close to the sheep-shaggers of the south brings me as much trepidation as a sheered sheep does to you.
  19. Oh, I see. Leave for a few months and suddenly the Old Joehas a slip of demintia and forgets me...me a kniggit of the pool. Oh of course he'll claim some short, loud, completely useless and non-sensical. The long and short of it is I've been wronged...wronged by the short, stubbly, gilt-covered hand of the law. I demand retribution. Shaw you pathetic Utah reject, send me a CMBB file..Yes, because I haven't bothered to purchace the latest incarnation of CM {praise its name}. And Coventry is for sissies. Berli on earth is actually in Korea, where the Air Force in its infinate wisdom has sent me to an Army base. Coventry would be a step up. So sent me a game so that I can distract myself with killing you and with the nice explosions. And add me to that damned list, as a former squire of that bastaige Marlow I deserve it for time served.
  20. Typical day at the trailer park isn't Lars? I take a well earned hiatus and I come back and The Evil One is no where to be found. Tsk, quite disappointing really. One would expect some staying power out of Death. On a side note I'm leaving this frigid, winter wonderland that is North Dakota and moving to Korea...Yongsan Korea to be exact. While I'm overjoyed to be placing half a world between myself, Minnesota and all things Canadian; I'm now that much closer to Australia. Really a case of damned if I do, damned if I do. Fortunately, I believe the ROK has placed a cease-and-desist order preventing Mace from reaching the mainland.
  21. One thing I would like looked at is the inability of infantry to fire until they "rotate" to face the enemy. The problem is the rotation speed is very slow. Example: I have an infantry squad 5m from a road in trees. Three (3) Pz IIIJs come screaming down the road and the squad with three anti-tank weapons doesn't fire as its rotation speed can't keep up. While I understand aiming with bazooka and fausts would show in this type of behavior, but hand-held grenades? Maybe I'm wrong, but I've seen this behavior in all three games. Generally, infantry are assumed a 360 degree firing arc to simulate the human bodies ability to quickly reface, aim and fire. Just for investigation...I have the save file to show exactly what I'm talking about.
  22. Yes, Dame Kitty another round of Poolers face mod would be wonderful. I really miss putting the boot to these people.
  23. My guess is Djbouti. A completely nasty place if I say so myself and I have the pictures to prove it. As for this A&8 chap, I can see he is a mudpuppy, but I'm betting he's a roterhead. He's got time to post and the puffed ego of an avaitor. Good God, hasn't the DoD realized not to give any advanced toys to the Navy's infantry yet?
