1. ok so here it is my problem is im playing one of the new asl scenerios.. no spoiler long story short germans----->x building --> |_| hedge----> ---------- |_x| x ------------------------------------------ ok i move my american squads to the hedgerow.. they see germans and shoot at them... then all of a sudden they charge the building and get slaughtered/broken.. AAHHHHHHHHH! i say huh?? then i realize that the hq unit was eleminated so i think ok no leaders = squads all confused..ok then i move my overwatch squads up and this time keep the hq unit out of the hedgerow.. boom!!!!! all my over watch squads (3) charge same house.. results 1 hq eleminated 3 rifle squads elem. 2 squads broken one left map 1 squad w/ 4 guys left 1 hq unit untouched now allso i noticed that the squads did nothing when status said ok then i changed to casous then alerted once the status changed to alerted thats when they charged.. is it me?? my squads never didthis before and ive used this tactic before.. ------------------ Berlin calling, Berlin calling, when Berlin calls it pays to listen..... Jumbo lighten up sheeesh... how come you cant see the humor in the pic.. all though the note should be in german.. so I think that it was the sas that put it there I don't think Goering could write in english.. ------------------ Berlin calling, Berlin calling, when Berlin calls it pays to listen.....
 3. ive got a p3 533 w 256 megs and my turns dont go much faster \ i think that the larger the map and the more complex the orders (on bolth sides) thats how long u got to wait and usualy big maps = lots o units ------------------ Berlin calling, Berlin calling, when Berlin calls it pays to listen.....
 4. a cut and paste from nvidias web site (makers of the x-box vid chipsets)
quote:
The Xbox Graphics Processing Unit (XGPU): Based on NVIDIA's next-generation core architecture, the 250 MHz XGPU will process more than 125 million polygons per second, 4 gigapixels per second, and a total of 1 trillion operations per second, delivering unsurpassed graphics performance in a video game console.

so it sounds like the video is just the next step up (i.e one sep upo from the geforce 256 or what ever its called) in the video card evolution and since the x-box aint commin out for a while the grafix should be reachable on a pc just as soon. ------------------ Berlin calling, Berlin calling, when Berlin calls it pays to listen..... 8. DESCRIPTION: The M1A1 Bangalore Torpedo is an antipersonnel mine clearing charge dating back to World War II. It clears a footpath 0.6 meters wide. The Bangalore is effective against antipersonnel mines and has low reliability in cutting modern, high tensile strength barbed wire obstacles. Each Bangalore section weighs 13 pounds, including nine pounds of explosive. The Bangalore kit consists of ten 5-foot sections. STATUS: The system has been fielded since the 1940's. There are currently 2900 sets in Continental United States depots and 28,600 worldwide. EMPLOYMENT CONCEPT: The Bangalore Torpedo is a man-portable device for use by dismounted Infantry or Engineer troops. An individual soldier, or team of two, connects the number of needed sections, then pushes the Bangalore through the minefield before detonating. An electric or nonelectric blasting cap initiates detonation. The system is heavy and cumbersome to handle. BASIS OF ISSUE: The Bangalore Torpedo is a Class V item stored in Ammunition Supply Points and issued for missions when required. TRAINING/PERSONNEL: Training consists of classroom instruction, dry-run drills, video-tape, and live fire practice. Training literature includes the Operator's Manual. Unit training is currently conducted but is dependent on range availability and individual commander's emphasis. In maneuver units, locally fabricated training devices are used to simulate breaching wire obstacles in small unit exercises, while Navy units tend to train with the actual device against obstacles. Training rarely is conducted against live anti-personnel mines. ------------------ Berlin calling, Berlin calling, when Berlin calls it pays to listen.....

In some mods there isn't a screenshot included and I don't the game to test it with.

dont know probably not..ask the peng guys
quote:
Thanks!

[This message has been edited by Dogface (edited 01-09-2001).]
