Hi, I just did some modding of the game and for some reason it turned the text black. Unfortunatly, thats also the colour of the background of most of the unit information so I can't read anything. Does anyone know an easy way to fix that without needing to reinstall the game and do all the modding again? I'm using version 1.12 and the modding was basically going through Medmatt's Mod Guide (http://www.combatmission.com/mods/MMG.asp) but I didn't use all of the mods and I also got some new houses. Thanks!

In the demo, I was playing Valley of Trouble (as americans). I had a Sherman shooting at the 75 pillbox, and it was shooting back. After about 5 hits with no damage, both the tank and the pillbox shot, and blew each-other up, at exactly the same time! I slowed it down, and re-checked and it was exactly the same frame that they blew up. Pretty cool.

I was just wondering if anyone has done a humorous mod for CM. I thought it might be interesting to do something like an Army Men type thing where theres toy soldiers, plasic tanks and lego terrain type stuff. Since I have absolutely no graphics skills, is anyone working on something like this, or is there something available?

Alt-print screen only captures the active window, plain print screen takes a shot of the whole desktop. So if you're running CM in a window you'll need to hold alt, but if its fullscreen then print screen will do.

1) When she bugs you say "What's that?!?!" and point behind her, do that until she gets annoyed and leaves the room. 2) Tell her you hacked into the US Defence system, and this isn't a game. 3) Just tell her to "Get back in the kitchen, and make me some pie!".

While waiting for the game to arrive, I've gone a bit overboard on downloading mods (something like all of them). Anyhoo, its getting hard to manage, so is there any order with the file names? I dont want a list or anything, I just want to know if there is any sort of magical equation to tell the difference between a face, grass and a tank by looking at the number. The only thing I've been able to find out is that 1 in front of a vehicle is winter, and if a file is 3 numbers long, its probably terrain. Also are there any programs out there that let you view what a tank looks like from its skin? In some mods there isn't a screenshot included and I don't the game to test it with. Thanks!

I've ordered the game (5 days to go!) and I was just wondering what I should do to prepare for the big day. I've gone over to http://combathq.thegamers.net/ and gotten the 2 graphics updates and the sound update, as well as reading through the articles. I've also got myself a unit database, the patches (official and beta) and I've even started a list of acronyms so I don't get too confused (BTW what do AFV, FFE and FO stand for?). Is there anything else that I should do, like are there any really bad bmp's that aren't replaced by the files I got, or do I need to register for anything, or something like that? Thanks for your time.
