  1. No there is no option to buy reinforcements in a QB game. There are two extra options with a QB game and that is to load QB maps and to import the last battle you played (with or without your troops) Note you can only import your troops if it is the last turn of a previous battle.
  2. Latest contact I informed him about the problems with the leaked scenario(s) since then no contact. (30th January) Roger about the rematch [ February 02, 2003, 01:47 PM: Message edited by: Jaws ]
  3. Turret turns depend on a lot of things in WW2. To name a few; Weight of turret. Hydraulics or nor. Electric or not. Quality of optics. Experience of crew. (some turrets you need big mussels to get it around) Inner command delay between commander and gunner to fire at a target. Loaders have to walk with the turret otherwise they get bogged in some turrets. Location of the ammo storage. I.e. for some tanks you will get the ammo out of the hull. Long or short barrel. So this are just a few and it is almost impossible to calculate them all. Or you must have a P IV 8 Ghz A leopard 2A5 turns the turret 360 in 9 seconds at the moment. For the average rotation times from a medium tank in WW2 you can take your doggy bag with you. And for the heavy ones your sleeping bag.
  4. Game status ROW III section 3-3 Rear Guard Action-slow progress(Shock Trooper) Hosszupalyi-finished (Flammenwerfer) The Beast-finished (Sripe) The Christmas Battle-slow progress(Dirty Mark) King Of Debrecen-finished(Joakim Ruud) Every thing reported to Kingfish and Treeburst155. Only heaving nightmares from the battle against Flammenwerfer.... I really hope to get my revenge in the next round. [ February 01, 2003, 07:02 AM: Message edited by: Jaws ]
  5. Yep same to me... but damage would also be nice.
  6. When you choose your units in a QB a preview map would be handy. So you can pick the most suitable units for that map. I.e. A tank coy in a wooded area is really frustrating.
  7. I noticed if the defence is to strong the AI will attack very cautious. I noticed even that a stronger defending AI will attack instead of defending.
  8. That's good news about the PZ IV J I think if we wait long enough we will be experts on webpage design our self [ January 29, 2003, 02:51 PM: Message edited by: Jaws ]
  9. Again a great mod. I noticed that your site is running better at the moment and that is good news. I’m still working on mine. B.t.w. are you already motivated to do a pz IV J mod Just in case http://www.missing-lynx.com/gallery/german/sdpz4j.htm And downloading.
  10. Well this is very bad news. First of all I want to thank Treeburst155 for his effort and it is a shame that it ends like this. Second I noticed a few weeks ago that I had one of the scenarios that we are playing in this tourney. I thought about 2 things. If I tell the community about this the whole tourney will be frustrated and it will end just the way it is now. The other thing I thought was just to delete the file and pray that I was one of the very less guys who received the file. I have chosen to do the last thing. To keep the tourney rolling I will resign and ask Treebust155 understand the difficult situation I was in and maybe others.
  11. Ok mrNoobie I'm glad you are still alive. And this great mod proves you still active. Very nice now my Russian mods are almost complete. My personal opinion is that I would like if you Finnish the Russian mods first because Gautrek is already doing a very good job with the Germans mods. I would be a shame that the community will have to choose between two very good mods of the Germans vehicles while there are still unfinished Russian vehicles to be modded. But I am not complaining Mr Noobie because I’ve got all your mods active.
  12. Wow that looks great. Do you have a link where you find this one??
  13. I'm using it on a Gforce 4 TI 4600 and no problems. Some time you have to switch to DX 9.0 and my opinion is the sooner the better. [ January 20, 2003, 03:07 PM: Message edited by: Jaws ]

  19. Great Mod; downloading now. B.t.w. can you make a mod of the pz 38 like you did the pz II?? I really like that one.
  20. Great weekend to make progress!!! First my Hard disk with CM crashed  and had to be replaced, and second the cooler of my video card let loose  . It cost me 3 reinstalls of windows XP and CM before I noticed the problem with my cooler  . But most important I'm again ready to battle. [ January 12, 2003, 02:39 PM: Message edited by: Jaws ]
  21. The manual is clear about it + is about 10% of the basis game length. So before the patch I didn't notice more than 10% above the game length but after the patch I've notice 20% and even 30% extra turns. Anyone noticed this??
  22. Yes for the beginning go to Combat Mission HQ and install CMMOS 4.02. After that go to Combat Mission Modification Database than you have the best mods.
