I was trying to help Reichmann find some Stug/ Stuh mods and was telling him about Combat-missions and I have no problem getting into it from my favorites but when I actually tried typing in www.combat-missions.net it wouldn't work for me either???? I even tried the above with /mods but that didn't work either so maybe there is a problem?????????????? Just thought I'd let you know. I love your site by the way, but you really should post some mods there, HA! HA!

I would love to see one on the more recent "Mother of all Wars" desert storm, but I guess that would be a little one sided. But at least it wouldn't take long. They wouldn't really even have to show any Irag's just us bombing the carp out of them. I sure wish I knew how to make a smiley face so since I don;t here's a HA! HA! instead.

OK, here's where the tan one is.http://www.combat-missions.net/ and it is low-res or at least doens't say that it's hi-res. I am actually trying to get Tiger to add the iron cross to this mod but haven't gotten an answer to my email from yesterday yet so don't know. Hope this fix's you.

Look at either www.combatmission.com or www.afv-uk.net/cmoutpost and you will find some. I believe Tiger has the best one so far in a dark blackest one. It's very nice. Both sites are up and working because I just checked them this minute to make sure I wasns't telling you wrong. Try them you'll like them. I was just yesterday looking for the same mod myself and picked the dark ones from Tiger. There's also a tan looking one also from Tiger ( that guy rocks!!) but no iron cross so kind of takes away from the mod, but if you like just plain ones that would suit you. As far as Low-res I don't remember but one of them bound to be. I'll try to get the address on the tan ones. Be right back. t

Yes, I agree, that wouldn't do. Thanks for the info. I kinda figured it was something like that or there would be different mods for them, but wanted to make sure. Now I can stop worrying about it and get on with my downoloading and life.

I would like to have different mods for the Sturm's and Stuh42's, but all the mods makers always have the same textures for all. Is there not a way to separate them? If any mod maker or anybody else for that matter can answer, I would appreciate it.

I have both. Bought Shogun before CM. Played Shogun for about a month before I received CM. Haven't had a desire to play Shogun since. It was fun at first, but just very limited on what you can do. Same thing over and over. CM, well what can I say. It's different every single time. You will be wasting $50.00 if you buy Shogun.

Boy, what a shame we have to worry about what others think, but the sad truth is we do and especially in regards to 5 year olds or any youthfuls. With all that's happened in the news recently ( shooting in schools, etc) our society is not very tolerate or understanding about anything associated with guns in kids hands. So I would imagine the same would apply towards you teaching your 5 year old about war. Yes, I know you're not but try explaining that to his teachers or law enforcement people. I personally see nothing wrong in it myself as long as you teach him properly but I can sure see others making a lot out of it. I would be very careful, as you seem to be in mentioning it here, not to allow it to get outside the house. How you can do this seems to be the problem as others have said already, he's going to probably want to talk to his friends about the "cool" game him and his dad is playing and how about when his friends come over wanting to play and it getting back to his parents. Just my thoughts. Good Luck.

Well, I've been debating whether to increase my 192Ram to the 256 Ram but the computer guy I go to said it wouldn't help that much. I sometimes wonder if they know as much as they think? Anyway, appreciate the info.

I believe the tank wouldn't just run them over it would stop and shoot them. Would be cool though. Doubt it happened much. I would think you could get out of the way pretty easy.

Yes, it's all of the above. I feel another area that has greatly improved the game are all the great looking mods that those great individuals have put out to improve an already good ( didn't want to use great again) game. I actually find myself picking different tanks or trucks or troops, whatever and just looking at them from all angles. They look so real! Needless to say war has an appeal to it and the tools used to make war are part of that. But yes the game itself is different everytime and that to me is what puts the magic into the game. The people that designed this game are, in my book, - Great!

I also had two lockups. Both just last week. Never had them before or since? Hope not to have them again.
