I'm Special! PeterNZ -
I will be in Manhatten as of next Friday Some of the folks from Philly might drop by some time too. Although they are all Pengers, so should not be mixed with alcohol as per SOPs. o Facine ha! that should spur some debate! PeterNZ

CMBO: Gentlemen's night out in London
Wesreidau replied to Dr.Juzzy's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Bah! I resent the idea that the stinky Yanks came up with this idea first. As far as I know the first CM meeting was me and the Germangirl when we watched the Brits loose to Portugal(?) in Euro2000. From there Chupacabra and others joined us in London drunking sessions. We are the first ok! PeterNZ ps. We already have pictures up -
Bah, while the history stuff here is interesting the bitching about whether it should or should not be in the game is so.. tired. It's BTS's game, if they don't want to spend an extra week of their time and money testing a feature hardly anyone will use or care about, fair enough. The game still plays great and hassling them in a vain attempt at self-agrandisement is just pitful. PeterNZ

James Bailey, I think, works further north in Washington area? .. Hope so. He's a good friend But he's not been on icq all day so you're making me nervous PeterNZ -
Americans. We are with you on your starboard wing.... Mark & Tracey Trowbridge (UK)

Two pronged US attack up a hill to take Chupacabra's positions, and after wipping out quickly the shellshocked units up there my guys kept on firring.. AT EACH OTHER! I think they took 3 or 4 casualties, hte stupid bastards So yeah it does happen. Probably worse when two different formations (eg, two platoons) are approaching and experience is low. PeterNZ

KiwiJoe, bored? Set me up one. I don't mind what, just send a file with the paramters and lets go for it :> Maybe I'll beat you this time. I have the itch to play again now after my previous defeats. O, sorry we never finished the other game. I actually stopped playing CM pretty much across the board, so it was nothing personal (although you did ambush me good, ouch). PeterNZ

You lot are all rather silly. So some of you are going to have to send Setups. waving my pointy stick of pointyness at Sneezy in particular who has never experienced the groin churning pain of loosing to me. I see there are some new people here. So i shall ignore new people and challenge Hachu kinnkyo because he is a damn yank. PeterNZ dynamo@pobox.com for your suplications

Immobile Victory Flags are not historical
Wesreidau replied to Lawyer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Whilst on the subject, Allied Paratroopers and German Fallschirmjaeger should be able to paradrop with their VF`s. The flag and associated extendable pole could easily be carried in a weapons container. What say you BTS? I think we have them in a corner here guys! -

Max, I actually thought you`d come up with something along the lines of: "On my command, unleash hell!" ...you remain as controversial as ever -
Hi troops, Just so BTS are ok with this, this is a non profit-making venture ok Matt? If you go to www.commandpost.co.uk, and follow the link to competition, you will see a competition advertised whereby the best design of a custom military-based t-shirt wins their design! Sooo, I guessed that all you chaps and chappesses might fancy a try at designing your own CM T-shirt, submitting the artwork and then hoping you win. I designed my own recently (with thanks to John S`s Tiger I - there`s a pic of it on the site) Now I realise that not all of you are as sad as me and want to wear CM t-shirts, but for those who are, go there now. Note there are NOT any CM t-shirts avialble to buy, this is a one-off for a competition only. Thanks.. [ 07-14-2001: Message edited by: Wesreidau ]

Folks, my email is screwed more than Mensch and so i can't get to your freaking turns. Gimme a few days and maybe I can reply. Meanwhile, Chrisl, of JPL fame, you will be pleased to know your JPL hand electric fan is very amusing to my friends in NZ because it blows -backwards-. Kind of a metaphor there isn't there? PeterNZ
