Ever try to dig a hole in the woods? Your gonna bust your ass and give up, especialy in older forests. Its the roots, they make it very difficult to get to any depth at all. Im betting that Steve once again used common sense here, and simulated something as mundane as roots effecting your foxhole quality.

I think you'll find if you drive through, or run over that tree, it is in fact a minefield. For some reason, until you've discovered it, the FOW displays it as a tree in road terrain. I dont know if this has been addressed before, but its definitely a bug in the demo.

I live on a wooded, 800' high hill, complete with church at the top (highest point in the county). You can see the whole damn city up here, and on my drive to work, I can imagine arty batteries lined up in the woods to my left, with pristine lines of site. (I could blast my ex-wifes house from up here). Thanks to Miles, Ill have the map made up much easier than I anticipated. And terrain is so interesting, Ill probably just upload the map for others to tinker with. The Banshee was developed before the voodoo2, and generaly is an inferior card. If your voodoo2 cant hack it, the Banshee definitly wont.

Or you could read the Combat Mission manual when you get it. Broo haha.
