  3. ..CMBO...CMBB...CMAK... hey guys, do you have the necessay life time to play everything that the CM series offers?...I have often the feeling to miss something
  4. CMBB is definitely different from CMBO...much more realistic, especially in the importance of mG's...pits that CMBO cannot be upgraded to CMBB engine...we lack the nice battles in the Western Front.
  5. What is the best tactics for German tanks against Russian ones in 1942? In the Stalingrad Pack scenario “When Worlds Collide” the PzIIIJ’s are no match for the T-34’s…simply they cannot penetrate them while being easily penetrated by the Russkies. I tried to counter the T-34’s with the StuGIIIF’s at a distance of 1100-1200 mts being confident that their superior optics would have helped, but the duel between 2 StugIIIF’s and 4 T-34’s ended with the loss of the Stug’s and 1 T-34 being penetrated twice. I’m not sure that the optics is consistently modelled, simply I haven’t found any great advantage for the Germans.
  6. Hi K-Tiger...no funny....we brought our spaghettis in the desert...but we forgot that there is no water in the desert

  8. "My greatest hope is that we encounter a favorable tactical situation, but if we don't and worst comes to worst, I want each one of us to do his utmost to destroy our enemies. If there is only one plane left to make a final run-in, I want that man to go in and get a hit. May God be with us all. Good luck, happy landings, and give 'em hell!" - John C. Waldron, Pre-battle message June 3, 1942, At Midway, the pilots of Lt Cmdr John C. Waldron's Torpedo Squadron 8 flew on to attack in the certain knowledge that they were beyond return range. Attacking unescorted against heavy A.A. fire and fighters, they were all shot down. They have become justly famous for their bravery in pressing the attack. But they deserve to be equally famous for their bravery just in flying the mission. Even had they survived the attack they could not have returned to their carrier.
  9. thx buddy...where can I download it from?
  10. I want to create an image disk of CMBB on my hard disk...so I downloaded Daemon Tool, but for some unknown reason the exe file cannot be extracted. Is there available any other similar tool?
  11. wow...someone knows about Dante
  12. I think that all this is a bug. I can admit that a firer, immediately behind a building, can shoot at a far target. However, the reverse isn't true. I had a tank, immediately behind an undamaged factory, knocked down by a tank almost 100mts away. How can you imagine that the firing tank commander could see the target through two lined-up holes?
  13. Ligur, why not Krupnov scouting with a combination of sneak-advance-sneak-contact movement....maybe the poor Krupnov could save his life
  14. remember also, when you split a squad, to send scouting the half-squad without LMG...save the one with LMG for the firebase...obviously if the squad has only one LMG
  15. I noticed in v101 and v102 a strong tendency for tanks to hit in several cases a point amidst the line of fire when they have a red LOS....and the amidst pont is always hit as if it were the real target point  . This seems to me very unrealistic...no spread....no chance to hit the real target...very very boring...you have to move your firing tank to another point hoping that you find a real LOS Is this bug corrected in v103?...I remember they said it would be....I wish to be assured
  16. This forum would have been held in German language ....and that would have been a major disaster ....you know....English is far simpler than German
  17. The T26 was well behind the building....the LOs had to cross two walls...maybe these facories have windows like black holes  just sending the file to Bob Murray.
  18. I was playing the Berezina-River scenario...a T26 completely behind a factory building was targeted by a MKIV...they shooted each other ...the scenario situation file is at disposal of everyone who wants it.
  19. well..on my HP Pavilion Pentium 2,4 Ghz the CPU takes 15 mins to get into the movie screen. It is a reasonable time compared to my 20 mins to set up my orders

  21. Italians lost the Desert War because they carried spaghetti as the main food reserve...you know that spaghetti need water to cook! What can we do?...we Italians like spaghetti more than war
  22. IMHO I think that CMBB lacks the spreading area fire command...I mean...suppose you want advance your troops and in the meantime you want to cover a part of woods with fire..with the area fire command you can target only one point of that area...with the area fire command wou would cover an arc, much like the cover arc of a mg.
