  1. (Macbook Pro 17", 2gb RAM, standard stup otherwise) I can start the editor up without a problem, but when I load up a pre-existing scenario I get the following error that crashes the editor: 2. I agree with the original poster. The "fight to the last man" is awful. There needs to something to end it when ther are less than 10 men on one side or a reasonable solution. Seems too late to do this, I would think, though.
  3. I am really enjoying this game. It's got amazing moments aplenty, much like a great dramatic film at it's best. Nice job all around. One item that is driving me a bit crazy- the morale system that requires players to either fight to the bitter end, or hunt down that last enemy soldier down and snuff out his miserable pixalated existence. Some sort of "global morale" seems needed. Get a decent quick battle feature and the above worked out, and this game is aces. The city fighting add on will be the icing down the road.
  4. No email here either, and nothing in my spam folder. Got the receipt email for my order fine.
  5. Since there is now a scenario editor, the ratio can be skewed to whatever you like.
  6. Running amazingly well on my 17" brand new Mac Book Pro (after the upside down screen fix).
  7. That worked for me. Thanks a billion. It's running like a cat on fire on my Mac book now.
  8. I've tried other resolutions, no luck. I also can't use the old "Cntl-Alt-arrow" trick, because the keyboard is different.
  9. Don't have Pivot installed. Any testers using a Mac/Intel setup? [ April 17, 2007, 10:20 PM: Message edited by: benpark ]
  10. I'm using a Macbook Pro, running Windows XP with BootCamp. When I start the game using the "autodetect" settings, the screen comes up and looks fine, but it is upside down. Makes for a virtual vomit comet of gameplay. Need a fixemup.

    Demo News

Forget the demo, when's the pre-order email going out? I've got a tiny window of free time tonight that slams shut tomorrow for a good long while. Lemmee at it.
  12. Send out them afore-orderin', activatin' emails afore it weekends, y'all.
  13. Using existing maps is fine by me. A GUI for what forces I would like to use, objectives and setup zones is pretty important to have. Is there a way to string these maps together for something like a CM operation?
  14. Only outside the maternity ward, or from within their PzKw "Incubator" III Mother-ship.
  15. Really nice demo. The evening battle is scary. My machine slowed to a crawl at times, but it's aging a bit.
  16. Yeah! It's the reason I bought the game.
  17. Tried it, horrid, just awful. Does the world really need another crap RTS game?
  18. This is my main gripe with the game as well. One way to alleviate it would be to institute RR and major highways. These features are needed for the smaller, "operational" scenarios as is. For the strat game with RR, unit encircled would need to trace a path to within a square or so of an unblocked supply route.
  19. Saturday for the demo would give those of us here in the 'States those two critical extra days...
  20. An infantry heavy demo with a support AFV or two gets my vote. The less open the map, the better as well.
  21. Send me the game, and I will test it on my dual boot Mac! Cheaper shipping that way, y'know...
  22. Any testers tried this on the Intel dual boot Mac's yet?
  23. If that's the demo mission, I'd be happy. It looks to have a good variety of terrain.
