You seem to be good for a file a day and sometimes more on weekends so it should take us about a year to play but I think it would be interesting. Can someone here recommend one please.

Game updates for evryone who doesn't care: Lawyer, I st the last turn plot file off to him last night so I don't want to say too much or he might catch on to my gamey flag rushplns. Wildman asked everyone playing him o resendthe last turns to a different address so I sent the last file (dated 9/6/01) and still have herd nothing. MrSpeachless is running at about the same speed as Wildman. Last file I got from him was Oct. 23. Peng returns files faster. The bottom line here is that my effort to trim back othe number of PBEM games I have going doesn't seem tobe workingthey way I hoped. Not only do I need to keep the number but I also need the opponant to b of higher quaility (Lawyer is exempt for that snide remark). It's time for me to call up the old ones for game.

He was so hung over from Friday night that he didn't drink anythig the entire time I as there. This of course cut into my drunken foolishness as it is more fun to be slobbering drunk when someone else is too. I still had an excellent time and it was sobering to meet Peter (get it). I did have several times where I was a bit shaken by the events of Sept. 11th...the smell..the sight of half knocked out buildings (**)...was very disturbing but Peter helped to keep the spirits up....enough about that...Has Peng puked yet?

I am not a "mod" guy (I'm a rocker) but I have gone to your site for scenarios. I don't go there as much as it sounds like these guys do but I would certainly send you $5 or $10 to keep the ream alive. Think about it.

MikeyD I did a similar thing. I purchased a new computer in Oct.'99 figuring the game would be out very shortly and certainly by Christmas...Had I known the truth I would have held off till June 2000 and gotten more computer for my money (hee hee). Richocet, there were no "movies" with the Alpha AAR only screen shots. Imposter!!!!!!

I recenly had a conversation with a guy in the CMHQ chat room and he was saying what another player was doing was game. I told him that I thought there was almost nothing you could do in the game that is gamey. You can create a "story" about damn near every situation toexplain why you are doing it. But I gotta say folks playing for maximun points instead of proper tactics smells very gamey to me. I can't think of a time where instead of defending or attacking or in a meeting engagement I have concentrated on trying to kill the units that might have the highest point value (let alone actually knowing which do) instead of worrying about the tactical situation at hand. I am not a har core VL guy but I am a control the battlefield guy. Maybe I'm wrong here...I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

Don't know if there is a difference but I have never "hunted" or FOs and I have won more games than I deserve to have won. (what I am trying to say is if you are looking to kill FOs then you have alreaaady won the game and should just call it quits)

Playing a game where neither side knows what the other side has is the preferred way to play. But since I doubt you will find anyone who hasn't played the demo scenarios you will have to make do. I also assume you have played them both. I would offer to play you but I know every inch of ground in those games. Must have played them hundreds of times and that is not an exaggeration. I guess the point of this is to get a buddy or someone you can turn on to the game and play them. The scenarios will still be reasonably new to both of you.

Mr. Ghostboy, I believe you expressed a dislike for NYC (hey it's not for everyone). There is a beer.com place in Hells Kitchen too. So we could always do that.
