Dear Slugs, I have just sent off the file to Fussie Jeff. If I win this one it will be my greatest victory ever. Not only did he design the scenario in which he knows not only my force composition but where I have to set it up but he also has several Wild Bill type unmovable units that I can't even change their set up spot. He probably has TRPs on these spots so that they will be wiped out before they can even move. Not since Kitty tried to get me by giving me conscript Poles and she had Vet German armor has someone tried to so blatantly try to cheat their way into a win. Alas, he will meet the same fate. Dear Aussia Jeff, I have been thinking about the PBEM file you sent me and I have decided that I will play it. Despite the fact that you created the scenario AND have given me the defense. Not only do you know what troops I have been given and where reinforcements may or may not be entering but because I am on the defensive you have an excellent idea of where I have set up since you designed the setup positions. Dear dalem, You left one out. What of Jonathan Archer? In spite of that fact that I am a massive Star Trek geek I must hold back my comments on the issues you bring up or this conversation will just continue and nobody wants that. I will however ask for clarification on what you mean about Sisko. The guy who played him was perhaps the worst actor to get a starring role on television and literally unwatchable. By the time the second season ended I wouldn't even turn the show on anymore and if it was on I would change the channel but made a point to never miss a Voyager (so what does that tell ya). Dear Steve, Your posting of 2 March 2002 was very enlightening. What I took from it the most is that either CMBB is damn near done and has finally freed up some of you time so you can goof off like the rest of us morons OR you did actually get a load on last night and just ran with it. This of course is the best way to deal with oneself when a serious load had been put on. No sense in trying to fight it...just roll with it. And you did a fine job of doing just that.
