YES! hehe Yep, the tactically inept usually try to compensate for their lack of skill by using artillery. =)

Errr....Is it me or is it getting hot in here? I think I'll just go off and have a very cold shower right now! Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-14-2000).]
 3. If that exhibitionist Stuka runs through here naked, I'm going to be violently ill! Mace
 4. Stuka wouldn't understand what a "gimp" is (I didn't, I had to ask kitty)! Tell him he's a nong instead! Mace
 5. Mensch, That's no way to talk to a lady (especially this one, she's got very sharp claws....ouch)! Mace
 6.
quote:
Originally posted by Stuka: Aww Saanoopy, your'e just jealous because you can't scatter a refugee column simply by sky-diving over them. Listen carefully: Stuka:wwoowowooWOWOWOOOOOWOOOOOO Screechy:squeek Now run away and be envious of someone else

You know, I think politicians have to be held accountable for the de-institutionalization of the insane back into the community! he he Mace

Remind me never to smoke one of jshandork's cigars if he passes them around!
quote:
Originally (Hah!) posted by jshandorf: I recall no assertion of privilege, now bring those MBT's (snigger, snort, guffaw, roll on the flow, stop it you are killing me) and let's go mano a mano!!

Hmmm, hard choice! Nazi super panzers against Allied tin cans at very long range (curse you Rune, curse you and your black soul of evil)! What to do? What to do? I know, I'll hide and let the Nazi Schwerepunkt come to us. If I'm really lucky I may be able to remove a muffler with an AP round, or shoot off a periscope! As for Mano a mano. Shouldn't that be lawyer a mano? Now get back to work, go file a litigation or whatever! Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-13-2000).]
 8.
quote:
Originally posted by jshandorf: Perhaps you are to naive and you forget, Mace, that the average line backer in American football weighs in 230-260 pounds and you defensive linemen weigh in close to 280-300 pounds. The guys that play that wussy sport called rugby wouldn't last 5 minutes in the NFL. Your femme rugby lads would look awful funny stumbling off the field with a set of cleat tracks up and down their ass, trying in vain to pick up their teeth with broken fingers. Jeff

Yeh I grant you that, but you got to catch them first (sort of like large lumbering armoured sloths trying to chase down nimble ferrets) And as for ball handling skills, what the typical NFL player thinks it is is incorrect. It does not involve sticking one's hand down one's pants for a bit of a play! Mace
 9. A few of us CMers do get together for a co-op multiplay session every now and then, and the general view is that Steel Beasts is very good, especially with attention to detail and game play. If you're interested, drop in for a chat at Madmatt's CMHQ one evening (especially on the weekend, you may find we have a session planned)! Lookout out for Madmatt though, he hogs the glory and gets most of the kills! Masce
 10.
quote:
Originally posted by jdmorse: Why mace, isn't that what we are playing? Speedbumps in the way of the KT's I beleive you called yourself.

Damned lawyers, you tell them something and they use it against you for perpituity (and no doubt financial reward)! Mace
 11. Whoops, sorry Wittman. However, I have found the official URL for this product which is: http://www.dmps.co.uk/absolute/ Mace
 12. *Grabbing mop and bucket, and cleaning up after Maximus and Stuka* Damned cesspool discharge!
 13.
quote:
Originally posted by Hiram Sedai: Sir Seachai, I am saddened to see that you are indeed bereft of testosterone. I had thought that living in the land of the "Vikes" would have toughened you up by now, But it would appear that your effeminate nature is truly indominateable and pervasive.

Yeh, but it's a sport where the so-called men have to be padded up, isn't it (not that I give a rats)? Why can't you guys play real a decent sports game like Rugby or Aussie Rules, where the prime goal is to beat your opponent into the ground, and cause at least one limb breakage or fractured skull during a session? Mace
 14. Yes, it's nice, but...... When do we see the mod for the Bob Semples? Mace
 15. Hmmm, I wonder why no Kiwis have rushed in to defend this masterpiece? Mace
 16. As far as AFVs are concerned, the Sherman and the Valentine come to mind, and were provided to the Soviets via lend-lease! Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-13-2000).]
 17. As a military modeller, I was amazed to see the following release listed (one for all you Tiger lovers): TAMIYA AND CASSELL & CO Pz.Kpfw VI Tiger Tank. Interactive CD-ROM featuring archive and contemporary film footage. 360ยบ panoramas of interiors and exteriors. Scale plans. Camouflage and marking guides. Technical data files. Development and service histories. Everything but the smell. A superb quality product for the 21st century. Wow! I am really looking forward to this and any subsequent releases, especially as a possible resource for CM scenario and mod development! Mace
 18.
quote:
Originally posted by Stuka: ...One shot-one kill against his Pershing from the Panther bearing my mother's germanic maiden name

Let me understand this, your mother's maiden name was Panzerkampfwagen* V? Mace * consider it corrected, Mk IV (you pitiful excuse for a Main Battle Tank, you)! [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-13-2000).]
 19.
quote:
Originally posted by Seanachai: Chupacabra is away until Sunday ..... Any news stories about a raving man shouting about beautiful asian women in the news lately?

Something in Time Magazine about caucasians visiting Cambodia to meet with (very) young girls? I wonder if Chubachops is seeking fresh opponents for a new CMBO PBEM? Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-12-2000).]
 20.
quote:
Originally posted by rune: Gentlemen, You miss the obvious. New Zealand is the land with the ugliest, most worthless piece or armor ever devised. Yes, as a few of you know, I found the Bob Semples. Go to: http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/ Then go to New Zealand. Read about this masterpiece, then click on the picture to see it closer. Then try not to laugh... Rune

Rune, we've had this discussion before: The sempler is a masterpiece of multi-functionality! What other AFV serves as both a tank and a shearing shed! This is ultimate* AFV design specifically implemented for the NZ environment. Mace *Corrected in response to those with a thesaurus out there [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-11-2000).]
 21. Capt Pig, The TCP/IP patch is currently being reviewed and tested to ensure that it is optimally coded, and bugless. I'd personally rather wait for a quality product, than have a faulty one released quickly. Secondly, Steve and Charles were thoughtful enough to ask their customers what they would prefer, the tcp/ip update, or game system tweaks. The customers collectively asked for the game system tweaks, which have now been delivered. If you like to troll, I suggest you take it to the Peng thread! Mace
 22. Well, we've frequently had the "What's your favorite tank" topic. Time for a change. Which tank would you consider the most ugliest produced during WW2, prototypes included? I personally think the American T31 Demolition tank prototype (a derivative of the Sherman) would have to be right up there at the top of the Fuglies! Mace
 23. The full nomenclature for this version of the Sherman was: M4A3E8 Some bright spark obviously thought it was far simpler to say "Easy Eight" rather than "M4A3E8" Mace PS Pillar, don't you sleep? [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 11-11-2000).]
