  1. Why? I kid you not, change ASAP Go here: http://www.mozilla.com/ it's infinitely better.
  2. My money is on this sucker: M36 Jackson
  3. *uhm* Just because you could fly clear across the landscape doesn't mean you are forced to. You could just exercise some self control in this issue.
  4. Not a bad preview at all. There seems to be good will towards ToW, which is half the battle.
  5. People are overlooking the practical point that BFC would ideally not like to pay for the music. So I'm thinking Wagner, Prokofiev or some other dead guy.
  6. And yet another reason given to BFC to not provide us with even the vaguest information. Cheers guys!
  7. I knew NW Europe was the generally accepted theatre But has this precise Area of Battle been stated before ? </font>
  8. Don't worry. BFC are pretty good about stuff like this. They are planning to use eLicense, which is a reasonable registration product.
  9. The game is still a few months from being finished so I reckon they aren't sure yet what the requirements are going to be.
  10. Just before the CMSF release we really should remove all links to Gyrenes place and hide till the fcukt@rds go away.
  11. *edit* You are too kind by half, Moon. Gag!
  12. Which brings me to another engine related point. Abrams are rather famous for being somewhat infantry unfriendly. Somehow the ground pounders don't like being subjected to the scorching heat from it's exhausts. Not simulated, I assume?
  13. I too am very interested in this. I know I shouldn't but I would just love to see good looking tracerfire arcing back and forth. Bouncing upwards on occasion would just be too much to hope for, I'm sure. And explosions ...if they look good enough I might not even bring up the shockwave. I can't wait to see flares and other lighting efects. Burning vehicles? w00t! I do hope dust gets done way different then CMAK, it looked good on occasion but generally didn't work well gameplay wise.
  14. That is entirely the fault of your recollection, I fear. I name: Bosnia, Kosovo, Eritrea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Congo (puny), Macedonia, Cyprus, Cambodia and a bucket load of minimal participations. The Dutch are generally very eager to participate in UN or NATO missions. But more importantly, we have exciting vehicles.
  15. Uhm... a module that allows us to play with pretty much identical stuff as we had already gotten in the main game? Gee, thanks!
  16. Probably not.   But how about women? Probably too much hassle, but the Dutch army does deploy them to frontline combat units. Great to see the Dutch being one of the contenders for a module, though. They are the most plausible Leo 2A6 equipped US ally that would show up for a war. And they've got some other great stuff. YPR, Fennek, CV90, Patria XA-188 and even the odd Fuchs. Push back the war to 2011 and you'd get the Boxer in.
  17. The people who crave realism are far outnumbered by people that do not, many are even scared off by it so it is not a negative. The statement by Moon is perfectly fine in both objective (not scaring off casual gamers) and fact. (it really isn't the most realistic tactical game out there)
  18. One might argue that neither has the USA. Accidentally shooting up Brits and Canadians doesn't count.
  19. Never doubted it for a second. What would an average turn weigh in on, size wise?
  20. This has re-affirmed my impression that the US army will lose the next big war due to bankruptcy! For goodness sakes, it's supposed to be a light multi purpose transport vehicle! This is to the Jeep requirement as was the Maus to German tank needs.
  21. Mr.Picky says: Stuarts don't have a .50, they do have a flexible .30 cal though.
  22. LSIB, for someone who hates this place and its people so much you sure have a hard time staying away.
