  1. I downloaded the file and shifted the btt file into my CMBS scenarios folder - but can't see the scenario file to open. I'm using 2.13 game engine 4, so not sure why I'm not seeing this. I see the file in the editor but again when i open it I just get a blank map. I'm wondering if you used elements unique to the battlepack in this? As I see battlepack scenarios are greyed out.
  2. What @Combatintman wrote - the battlepack will become an integral part of the game exe download. In the short term a patch will be created that includes the battlepack. This might all complicated by work to create patch = other stuff might be considered (e.g. PBEM+++) then its going on Steam (my understanding) so you have all that additional stuff. It'll come out for sure
  3. I've made a First Clash redux version 4 Its temporary home is at the following DB link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nkgfb6m561ev13x/First Clash Redux_v4.btt?dl=0 This scenario was originally released as part of the CMBS base game. Whilst the intent pre-release was to create an intro to modern armoured warfare it appears many players post release considered it too easy – mainly due to the strength of the US forces arty and air support, oh and all the US AFVs had APS. The preponderance of APS equipped armour did mean the M1s were pretty unstoppable. I've tweaked it over the years and this is the latest iteration - In this redux version 4 all the APS protection systems for the US have been removed and experience levels toned down for both sides. Overall I think this change WILL make the scenario a more challenging proposition for the US player. P.S. watch out for the radio messages via reinforcement units! Cheery! George
  4. It’s not out yet - hence preorders. This post by @IanL outlines the process
  5. Excellent! Cheers ta appreciate it. It’ll help off set my beer tab to @Combatintman
  6. I’ve been involved with BFC since the early heady days of CMX2 as a beta tester. The battle pack is a professional remunerated arrangement
  7. Brill! Appreciate the purchase This thread might help clarify things. it’s preorder so not live at the moment. Cheery!
  8. I’m not a sorcerer- if that’s what it says. I only ride em. I don’t know what makes em work.
  9. Or download version 2.12 when it’s released which contains recent updates?
  10. The Master Map name list is linked to scenarios and campaigns so names won’t mean much in themselves I think?
  11. Mind I put together this twitter thread a few years back. It’s one of the campaigns and also there is a standalone. https://twitter.com/georgemcr01/status/1160289586838462464?s=46&t=zWE5Z7g0QfXjVS90ATZiOg
  12. He! Aye there are three training scenarios - from squad/platoon; platoon with attached support; hasty company attack. Cheery!
  13. No additional QB maps. But there are 14 master maps which could/can be used as custom maps for a PBEM, basis of other player made scenarios etc or chopped up - could also be converted via adding AI plans to QB maps. The workload to create a bunch of QB maps was bit much fir me. Cheery!
  14. Reckon then you’ll enjoy the Five Days campaign and the wee primer SPW training scenarios.
  15. If anyone not sure this is a link to a diary about one of the (largest) scenarios in the pack.
  16. Aye hopefully it will be 'all good fun' thanks Steve. Aye, this battle pack is set during the fighting between the German and Soviet armies in eastern Poland during the summer of 1944. This fighting was some of the heaviest on the Eastern Front during the entire war. This battle pack presents a series of actions recreating key moments in this fighting through the perspective of the forces involved during July and August. It’s been a real labour of love. The genesis of this battle pack was the series of images in the photo book Kampfgruppe Mühlenkamp published by RZM and authored by Douglas Nash and Remy Spezzano. On the back of this I started work on what became the Five Days One Summer campaign which is the key campaign of this battle pack. This battle pack would never have got anywhere without the help and support of a whole bunch of others. I would like to give a huge shout out to all those including the BFC beta testers for all the playtesting, feedback, advice and support. I am also indebted to Mr Douglas Nash for his freely given help and support in clarifying some of the details involved in several actions involving ‘Wiking’, notably the fighting around Tluszcz in mid-August 1944. If you’ve not checked out his recent trilogy “From the Realm of a Dying Sun” its well worth doing so for the background to this battle pack. Also worth having a look at is the “Operation Bagration 23 June-29 August 1944” by the Soviet General Staff which gives a ‘big picture’ view of the Soviet operations in this period. I hope you all, as the players enjoy these scenarios and campaigns as much as I did researching and creating them. As always, I’d appreciate any comment and feedback and I look forward to seeing how this collection of scenarios and campaigns plays out for yourselves. Cheery!
  17. Thank you. It’s interesting to hear how this plays out for players. Defo bad luck with these mortars though! Good skillz on the third mission though. Look forward to hearing how the other missions pan out. Cheery! George
  18. Spe of the 'skins' in this mod pack had LSAH cuffs. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16kQfIijnxHjAVgq33nOVjjLhT7y5tSIf/view Its for CMRT but should be able to get em to work in CMBN.
