z1812
This is camo worn by some divisions in Normandy 44. All work is mine but for the Scrim Helmet which is from Veins Airborne mod. The Germans look so good in their various camo designs that I thought the Americans should also have some flash. There are 2 sets in the folder. 1 with camo uppers and lowers and the other mixed. I have uploaded to the Repository and it already available at Green as Jade's site. Info from World at War Website. http://www.theworldatwar.info/uscamouflage.html Picture preview here. http://www.box.net/shared/mrobulqngd508d3czary
George MC
Ah that's the uniform that saw GIs being shot at by their own side thinking they were SS troopers. hence why the camo uniform never really caught on I guess with the Allies. Will check our your file when I get back from work
Erwin
Can one mix and match uniform tops and bottoms with other uniforms to get a variety effect? (I know this works with helmets.)
MikeyD
You can mix & match by hand. I mean bring it into a paint program, swap out the pants and resave. If you change the end tag number (1.bmp, 2.bmp, etc.) it will come in as an additional random variant.
The Warrior
Oh wonderful. I was so hoping some one would do this mod.

Is there a limit of random variants or I can add any number of variants?
mjkerner
Pkunzipper, you can add as many as you like. Presumably, if you made enough variants, every Ptruppen could eventually have their own unique uniform.
MikeyD
Is there a limit of random variants or I can add any number of variants I only know I've gone up to 3 on the US inf uniform variants. Nobody's ever cautioned not going past 4,5,6. I think para uniforms currently are just the 1. Does anyone know when precisely they called the units in the field together and told them to change out of their jammies into plain inf uniforms? Are camou uniforms still present at Carentan? Or was it after airborne was withdrawn in mid july to be rebuilt that they abandoned the camou?
z1812
While researching I was not able to find a precise date that they were ordered to be changed. The general concensus is that they were not worn any longer after the end of August 44.
Erwin
I know re helmets I have gone over 10 different types in a single brz or folder with no problems.
mjkerner
The mods I use of my own division patches mod hit 8 uniforms for US Paras and 12 for Germans. I far as I've been able to tell, it's unlimiuted. I've thought of making endless variations in order to get a high enough number to have individual uniforms for a full company...but that ain't gonna happen!
