7thGalaxy
I noticed today that the AI uses 360 degree target arcs, which I assume tells the unit to concentrate only on the area nearby. Is there any way of doing this for the player? I couldn't find anything in the manual
SgtMuhammed
When you assign a target arc hit shift while you hold the left mouse button. You will get a circular arc and can set the diameter.

Huntarr
Posted this in the ambush thread awhile back. I set the 5 man Fire Team to HIDE and 10m circular ARC (hold the shift key)
Huntarr
Continuing thread As you can see they spring the ambush even just outside the ARC which is actually to my favor (smarter TacAI) Grenades are going into the air even before rounds are. There was discussion in Skunkworks about how to micromanage the interior disposition of your infantry, but you have to remember the interior is not an empty room. It's abstracted walls and cooridors. I don't think BFC is trying to simulate CQB. Hope that helps Devilpup Maybe this should be moved over to Tac & Strat?
Meach
Does holding shift work with any other function for more goodies we may not know about?
Roter Stern
Wouldn't it be nice to also to able to make a 'quick 180* arc', like we had in CMx1?
slug88
Does holding shift work with any other function for more goodies we may not know about? It's all on the hotkeys screen in game.
Sivodsi
Wouldn't it be nice to also to able to make a 'quick 180* arc', like we had in CMx1? Yes, I miss the 180* arc too. It seems strange that there is no capability to automatically create one because the code does not allow you to make any covered arc between 181* and 360*. In CMX2 its either 0-180* or 360. Please someone post a message with the hotkey for 180 degree arcs!
