RSColonel_131st
I'd like to point out that the shoes this Mk1 Space Lobbster of Doom is wearing are not correct for the time of the conflict portrayed - they only got these shoes in a later century. Also, the chick should be blonde. [ September 08, 2005, 03:08 PM: Message edited by: RSColonel_131st ]

Gpig
I'm guessing she's going to urge him to reveal some REAL screen shots. I know I'd listen . . . Gpig

lucero1148
If we get a screenshot that means we'll know what era this game will be from. doubt that will happen anytime soon. Patrick

Sergei
Not necessarily. They could just show some terrain to demonstrate what the new engine can do.

I have no idea what 78 degrees Fahrenheit is, but also no idea how much I weigh in kilograms (can't be bothered to divide by 2.2). Battlefront.com
If we showed terrain you'd be disapointed at the moment because there ain't much to see. We're only now starting to put terrain and units in. Hence you guys not seeing anything yet. Steve
Elmar Bijlsma
Really? With Madmatts announcement I was expecting something next week, another two weeks maximum. If I read you right it looks like I was more then a little optimistic and it may be a month or two yet!

Battlefront.com
No, not a month or two. Not for an announcement and preliminary screenshot at least. But more than that is not possible until we've had time to add more terrain and units. Remeber, the game has quite a ways to go before being complete. And unlike CMx1, the graphics stuff is coming in towards the end of the development cycle, not the beginning. Steve

Are you sure you want to be doing that? Because you know what happened last time, evil people kept those early screenies and show them to unsuspecting people every so often. Shield your eyes! (thanks Patboy, the original article was gone so I used your Imageshack one)
Battlefront.com
Hehe... well Elmar, you just gave a nice example as to why we aren't falling all over ourselves to put out screenshots. We know we'll have to see them again in... (does quick math) about 8 years Man, that was when the game was still hex based. As an aside, unfortunately all our very oldest Alpha Pt1 builds have been lost. I do, however, have an Alpha Pt2 build around here somewhere. It dates to just after we switched to the grid system over hex. Steve
Stalin's Organ
Hey don't knock it - those early screnshots were what sold me on hte game - sure they're crap now....well OK they were crap then too... .....but they were still hte only 3D tactical WW2 game in town!

How come you don't offer up the old, old builds for sale by download?
