MikoyanPT
I would love to see some kind of logistical truck or units that could be used to simulate logistical convoys. The tactical uses of those soft skinned vehicles would be huge. Something big with a tarpaulin cover will do fine. Anything planned ? the Fighting Seabee
I second that. Exactly Zero armies in the world don't use trucks.
Roter Stern
IIRC at some point Steve commented on this and basically it came down to logistic being outside of the main focus of Shock Force. If the game dealt with counter-insurgency operations, then of course trucks and such would have a much bigger reason to be in the game. But as it stands right now the game deals with "tip of the spear" type battles, especially when played as the Americans. On top of that, I'm sure it's also the classical case of having to prioritize work within a very limited development time schedule. If I had to pick between a truck and a BMP-3 to make it into the Marine module, you can probably guess wich one I'd want : ...vs...

Rudel, You are correct that the NG still uses a lot of them. However, most of the trucks that went into Iraq early on have been deadlined for one or another reason. That means the mix of trucks now, and in the near future, compared to even 2 years ago is quite different. Remember that a lot of the trucks were already 20+ years old and the desert environment is not kind to the elderly There was a huge controversy about the age of the vehicles hurting our war effort back in 2004 IIRC. Steve But there was post fom an old thread.
Rokossovski
Sure, combat forces don't tend to deliberately bring trucks close in to the combat zone. But some times you don't go to the battle . . . sometimes the battle comes to you. This goes for "Red" trucks as well as "Blue."
RommL
It is true that of the vehicles of logistical would well have come them. But I would see more trucks of Russian origin. ... as these

vincere
Would have to agree with this being lower priority than a lot of stuff; but seems to me that this stuff could be done parrallel to core programing? And yes, I'd love to see some of this stuff for variety of mission.
Darkmage
Would love to see the Syrians attacking some overstretched US supply convoys.
