civdiv
Is it just me or is tere a certain other game now out that looks like a direct copy of CMBB? I won't even mention the company or the game but I saw a screenshot of it and thought it was CMBB, until I looked a little closer.

But here's a link to a review of the game; http://www.wargamer.com/reviews/panzer_command/ Then go to the companies web site and look at the screen shots.

Inola
Heh, I saw some posts about this game (it was relised aome time ago? I dont know, how his happenned). I is worther than CMBB at many aspects: units dont look like "real" soldiers (light tank stand in the crest of the hill under fire of heavy tank, and dont revers), no command delays, unlimited ammo (I just read posts, I hadnt, played yhis game. Perhaps, ammo load is flexible), only winter scenarios. I dont know if it was fixed, but as it was some time ago, CMBB is much better.

I have done some minor modding to these files in my game. The units use an all pieces on one bmp style.
MeatEtr
I tried the demo about a month ago. All it did was make me want to play CMBB. I just couldn't get into it. IMHO, CMBB is far better.
patboy
I don't doubt CMBB is better game than Op winter storm, I just want to look for BMPs because some of these seem interesting, I wish Theatre of war use BMP to embellish CMBB too. junk2drive
The only mods I made are buttons for the UI and splash screens. I have sent to you the PZIIF bmps. You make nice PZIIs.
patboy
Thanks, just what I was looking for. I like panzer puzzle Pat
patboy
OWS isn't a CMBB "clone" is a CMBB "ersatz" and this is not the same thing IMHO. Nevertheless some terrain Bmps seem interesting and some few parts of vehicles skins too! I'm gonna try to adapte some for CMBB. Don't know if I must ask permission, just for free release to CM community? Pat
tankibanki
Did anyone manage to download the demo? I always get a corrupt file. Is there an alternative download site for it? I didn't even find any demo download on the developer's site.
Sergei
I downloaded and installed it. Haven't tried it yet.
tankibanki
Third time worked for me. This time I didn't use Flashget, maybe that was the problem.

Same problem with first install, I've been on the technical support and they said you must install NET. and directX 9c even if you already got it. Work fine now, but not a good game IMHO! Inola
As I heard, AFVs` models don`t reflect real dimensions. They were drawn "from memory". lol, how can it be hardcore game.
Michael Dorosh
I bought the full game but just never go the hang of it. CM's camera controls spoiled me. It was no fun trying to move the camera in PC and I stopped trying pretty rapidly. The presence of our obnoxious now thankfully banned friend :username:/:Lewis:/:Wartgamer:/:Yoozername: on their forum also turned me off the product.
Other Means
I bought the full game as a friend of mine was a beta tester and we were going to have some games while waiting for CMx2 to come out. I never even finished the first battle. I just wondered why the hell I was putting myself through such a painful UI and orders mechanism when CM was right there waiting. Note to self: 10 Download the demo before you buy 20 GOTO 10
