Vanir Ausf B
There may be a few adjustments to QB rocket prices in the -- hopefully -- near future.
John Kettler
gcrain, Having seen the pics, am inclined to agree with your event characterization. Back during the Cold War, we used to talk about Russian MRLs (BM-21s) wiping out whole grid squares. Looks as though your Chief of Rockets and Artillery is well on his way. Bulletpoint
It doesn't get discussed much because BFC's policy of never ever ever changing points values is iron. Instead, most people agree that the underpriced assets are not to be used in QBs. That's bizarre, if it's true. Sounds like a policy straight out of communist China... can't admit errors, got to save face!
womble
That's bizarre, if it's true. Sounds like a policy straight out of communist China... can't admit errors, got to save face! Yeah, right. Sure. BFC have sat through so much acrimony about points values back when they used to occasionally revise that they simply aren't prepared to go through that process any more. They admit that there may be errors, but the community have made them unwilling to undergo the process of rectifying them. This thread is actually an excellent illustration of why: without the expectation of change, even, there are varied and varying appreciations of what a particular asset is worth.
Freyberg
If you're fighting on a map of a size appropriate to the forces, cheap rockets are not such an issue. Map size makes such a difference and it's only too small a map that makes it a turkey shoot.

For the price of a single T-34. And of course you don't have to hit the whole map, just the part the enemy may be occupying. So for instance, if you are playing on a 2km x 2km map you may only really need to hit half of it. Dump 5,760 rockets on a 1km x 1km area and see whats left.

Not that it would change the truth of Vanir's statement, but the half of 2x2km is 1x2km, not 1x1km. 1x1km is actually a quarter....
