Erwin
Don't recall if this has been noted here b4, but SOVIET STORM (Hmm... good CM title?) seems like an xnt 2011 Russian-produced series on the war in the east. (There are actually 2 series covering the main aspects of the war.) Lots of new footage and info and some of the best digital graphics and SFX of any history program so far. Good prep for East Front CM. http://www.history.co.uk/shows/soviet-storm-ww2-in-the-east/episode-guide
Childress
These videos are Russians productions and patriotic bias is in evidence. But definitely worth watching. The production quality is off the charts as Erwin remarked; superb use is made of re-enactments and animations. Maps are in Cyrillic.
Los
Still there is some good footage, worth a watch and educational to see how they are viewing and teaching stuff. No doubt when they view western documentaries they roll their eyes at our claims, ESP when you get hyperbole like "d-day was the most momentous day of the war" or the Battle of the Bulge was the bloodiest battle, stuff you hear occasionally thrown around in documentaries and books... Erwin
Considering that wherever a TV show is coming from it will be slanted, this Russian effort is notable for sounding pretty objective and balanced. And they get their tanks correct, unlike several western docs I have watched whose editors can't tell the difference between a PzII and any other Pz or even a western allies tank etc.
Vanir Ausf B
Mostly correct. I'm up to episode 7 and I noticed that in some of the '41 battles the Panzer IVs are long barreled 75s.
H1nd
Very good documentary series, exept for the obvious patriotic bias wich is not that bad actually. (much less than in many American docs tbh.) I would recomend to everyone interested in eastern front.

Pewpewchewchew
Soviet Storm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A6UWkK2U4s I think this person has all the episodes on Youtube. I used to watch the series while doing cardio. I found it really objective and it wasn't so much interviewing historians and such but a narrative which is nice.
Freyberg
I've watched a few of these. The 3D graphics are a bit cheesy, but the stories are interesting and well told. I have no problem with a slight Soviet bias - I reckon they earned the right.
