Taki
Hello, thinking about getting V2.0 Have there anything changed with Tank Behavior? Like those Super Accurate Shooting on the Move and the Superfast Reaction of Tankcrews to new spotted Enemys? Is there still shooting on the Side and back of the Tank doing Damage to Optics and such strange behavior? Has there anything been tweaked? Couldnt find that on the Readme.

No. In addition some people rolled back to 1.11 due to perceived problems, not sure how universal that is.

Guest
No. In addition some people rolled back to 1.11 due to perceived problems, not sure how universal that is. Not at all universal. A handful of people have rolled back to 1.11. "Some", even, is an incredibly severe overstatement. Okay thx for the Info. So much time and reply/testing from Users and they did nothing in that Part of the Game? *sad* Wont buy it We added a list of good features to the game. If you choose not to buy those because we didn't alter tank behavior, that's your call and you're welcome to make it.

Doug Williams
In addition some people rolled back to 1.11 due to perceived problems, not sure how universal that is. Not sure what perceived problems you have in mind, however there is one major problem if you enjoy playing PBEM Quick Battles. For many people, the game simply locks up on turn 002 and never loads. PBEM is my favorite way to play, but I haven't rolled back to 1.11 yet in the hope that a patch or hotfix is released shortly.
GreenAsJade
Not at all universal. A handful of people have rolled back to 1.11. "Some", even, is an incredibly severe overstatement. To be fair, PBEM/H2H players have to either roll back or just wait to be able to continue playing due to the crash-on-loading bug. While this is a handful of people in proportion to the vs AI twitchers, it is nonetheless a fair body of players. If there's a better characterisation of the problem, like "actually its safe to play scenarios, it's only QBs that are affected" that would be helpful to know. In the clubs, the word is "don't bother with 2.0, because your game might get crashed at any point". It would be great to have a more enabling messge than this, if one exists... Battlefront.com
GAJ, Different issue than what Redwolf was implying. As always, any ongoing save game (PBEM or otherwise) should be finished in the version it was started to ensure there are no errors. While patches don't generally nuke existing save games, we don't invest resources and time ensuring backwards compatibility with previous saved games. If they load at all that's more than we tested for. Players wishing to finish up a legacy game have two choices: 1. Hold off upgrading (or downgrade to v1.11) until the game is complete and then upgrade after. 2. Create a second install and have that one upgraded to v2.0 while using the original install to complete previous games in v1.11. WinOrLose
How about spotting through half a dozen tree canopies at 500m plus away and spotting vehicles in shadows too easily?
Vanir Ausf B
I'm pretty sure that shadows are eye candy only and have no impact on spotting.
Doug Williams
Steve, at the risk of changing the subject of this thread which was supposed to be about tank behavior in V 2.0... The PBEM quick battle crash on turn 002 bug that GaJ and I are talking about is occurring on new games started with fresh installs of version 2.0. Most of us who have been playing CM for a while know that games started on a previous version may or may not work once the game is patched to a new version.
