    Included in the download are both a version with setup zones and objectives for a meeting engagement and a raw version with nothing, only landmarks.
    While the map is quite large, the setup zones are not that big, so either enlarge them a bit before playing or pick a relatively small force. There should be plenty of time to deploy though given the length of the map so even if it gets a bit crowded at the start it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

    Growler 2.0 got a reaction from SlowMotion in Semper Fi, Syria! Campaign Bug??   
    So I'm currently making my way through the Semper Fi, Syria! Campaign for the Marines. I'm playing the scenario "Flirting with Disaster" and I'm getting the feeling that something is not working since I'm not getting any reinforcements that were mentioned in the briefing. I already played 45 minutes into the mission before restarting it to see if it fixes anything but nothing has changed. The scenario starts off with only four HMMWVs, too little to complete the objectives on my own. Also, no fire support is available although mentioned in the briefing. I fear that I can't progress at this point without hitting the cease fire button and unwillingly handing a victory to the AI. Is this working as intended? Has anybody else experienced something like this?

    I have uploaded 69 of Kieme's mods to Google Drive, as well as a few others by Vein, BTR and Bil Hardenberger.  Files will be taken down at request of author(s).  Files were made JSGME ready (they were placed inside z, inside data, inside a folder with the same name) and then zipped.

    @Lethaface, you know @LXGTR might be onto something here.
    The largest length of a loaded PzF3-IT that I found is reported as 1.35m - so let's assume that's what we should have in game.
    From that we have the following:

    Seems like a rather below average height German pixeltroopen to me.
    Wikipedia lists "average human height" as 1.7m - from that it does seem the PzF3 is in fact 30% too large.
    Here's a fairly similar side-by-side of CMSF2 and real life. Granted it's not the "IT" model on the right, however the launch tube should be fairly close in size across the PzF3 family.

    Heya,
    I'm not quite sure, but I think the Panzerfaust 3 model seems a little to big. At least I don't remember it to be this big when I was in the army, even when extended for the tandem warhead.

    I noticed that the image for the AH-1W Super Cobra in the air support tab uses the silhouette of a AH-1E/F Cobra. I searched the forums to see if anybody has already done a corrected silhouette for download but couldn't find anything. So I sat down and created one on my own. Satisfied with the result, I thought other people might enjoy this as well.
     
    Installation:
    1. Download
    2. Extract the Growler's Super Cobra Silhouette folder from the .zip file to a place of your preference
    3. Place the Growler's Super Cobra Silhouette folder in C:\Users\user\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Shock Force 2\User Data\z (make sure you don't have any other files with the name "silhouette ah-1.bmp" in your z directory)
    4. Done. The next time you start up Combat Mission Shock Force 2, this custom image should be correctly displayed for any AH-1W Cobra in the support tab.
     
    Included in the mod folder is the reference image I used to create the .bmp file. Hope you enjoy!

    Heaven & Earth, the "Vietnam-esque" Super-mod, is still very much a work in progress but I think we're now at a stage where we can start an 'open beta'.

    The kind of stuff that you can expect...
    Content includes...
    Two "Bong-Hai Civil War" Era Campaigns (one original 15 mission campaign by @puje and a 7 mission "conversion" campaign by myself). Eleven "Bong-Hai Civil War" Era scenarios (all "conversions"). Nine Modern Era scenarios (one original scenario by @Sgt.Squarehead and eight simple conversions by myself). Three Quick battle map conversions by @Combatintman.  
    Installation & set-up
    The Heaven & Earth modpack is designed for CMSF2 version 2.02, it is advised that you use no other mods alongside Heaven & Earth as it is a complete package with a unique UI, sounds, scripts, special effects, vehicle's & weapons... many of which are swapped by the use of tags.
     
    Place the mod pack into your empty mod folder in C:\Users\user\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Shock Force 2\User Data
    Place the contents of the scenario folder into your scenario folder in C:\Users\user\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Shock Force 2\Game Files
    Place the contents of the campaign folder into your campaign folder in C:\Users\user\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Shock Force 2\Game Files
    Place the contents of the map folder into your map folder in C:\Users\user\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Shock Force 2\Game Files

     
    In terms of settings, because Heaven & Earth maps are often more complex than the desert maps of CMSF2, you may find it useful to slightly reduce your '3d Model Quality' settings... 'Balanced' or 'Improved' should be sufficient for smooth gameplay. Remember you can change your '3d Model Quality 'in-game using Shift+[ & Shift+]. You can also toggle shadows with Alt+W.
    Some of the newly created objects may look odd with shaders off. Alt+R will toggle your shaders in-game.
